What's your negotiation strategy Stephan? How much under the asking price did you bid? How much do you want the house?

The rain is very light now, the sort of stuff they wouldn't have come off for had they been on the field.
New for your listening pleasure this morning is the latest edition of No Balls: The Cricket Podcast, presented by England bowlers Kate Cross and Alex Hartley.
This week, as well as reviewing the drawn women's Test at Bristol, they speak to former England batsman James Taylor, reflecting on his journey since the diagnosis of a heart condition in 2016 forced his retirement.
I'll let you off, Tim, mainly because I like the idea.
If there are any other ideas of how spectators can get involved in officialdom, I'm all ears.

Apologies this is about light meter. I'm going to set up a Gofundmepage to buy a light meter to take to matches. Think we need a second opinion on the matter.

At this rate we'll be deciding the winners with a swimming gala.

My friends and I were debating whether as purists we prefer the fact that as a final, this Test can end in a tie/draw, or whether the anarchists within us want to see a bowl-out to crown a winner.

TMS have wound the clock back to 2018 when England won a closely fought Test against India at this ground. It's another chance to listen to the "View from the Boundary" chat with comedian Nish Kumar.
Before I started work I put an offer in on a house. I might have to resort to commentating on that process. We could get input from Phil and Kirsty. Phil is a big cricket fan.

The umpires have been out to take a look, but if they have looked at the radar they will have seen there's about an hour of rain predicted. So we should be able to start some time after that all being well. We will have some cricket soon. There's a handful of supporters in. Fortunately they are all well wrapped up and have their umbrellas up.
What did I just say, Kumaran?

Kumaran Ravendradas: I'm working near Lord's this morning and somewhere close to Vauxhall (the Oval) in the afternoon. Weather looks good here... if only... surely with both teams not playing for a while after this, they can arrange an extra day or two??
And, of course, you can get involved. Please do. Please. We can talk about anything. Absolutely anything. Except the following: rain, bad light, bad weather, light meters, anything to do with the elements.

At least we have two teams here who have great bowling line-ups and batting line-ups. Even with the time left if one grabs the game by the scruff of the neck we might just see a result. It's frustrating we can't get on the pitch at the moment - there's not a cloud in the sky elsewhere in the country! The big covers were on yesterday, and today they aren't so that's a positive hopefully.

We're in a bubble here, and you look out the window and it's raining all the time. It's very frustrating. At 10am when I sat down it's fine, and then suddenly the covers appeared. But hopefully we'll get some play as it's not driving rain. What is going to happen to this game?
BBC Test Match Special
The good news is Test Match Special is on air, although Aggers and Tuffers are starting to sound slightly delirious at the prospect of another day watching the showers.
It's entertaining, to say the least.

I checked the forecast and bravely left my hotel without a coat today. By the time I got to the ground it was raining. Even on the days it isn't supposed to rain in Southampton it rains.
The covers are still on the pitch so I assume we have a delayed start.
Despite pretty much every other inch of the country enjoying dry, even sunny, weather, there is a localised cricket-hating shower ruining everything in Southampton.
I'm not sure the UK will ever be trusted with another WTC final.
You couldn't make it up.
