That's close.
A battle of wills, as much as anything, between Nathan Lyon and Ben Stokes.
The England batter is struck on the pad by the Aussie spinner and this time Steve Smith goes for the review.

If you're watchful and know where your off-stump is, you can hang in there for a long time on this pitch.
Michael Neser draws an edge from Jos Buttler, but the ball drops short of the slips.

It has been largely placid, but that wobble seam delivery by Neser did move a tad.
Michael Neser, who is busy striding to the crease to deliver, beats Jos Buttler and the Aussie slip cordon ooh and ahh.
That felt like Ben Stokes just needing to break the tedium of defence to then reset himself, and regain his concentration, for that mindset. If that makes sense.
Michael Neser replaces Mitchell Starc as Steve Smith shuffles his pack.

You can get top edges with the extra bounce here - but you can't also just sit in and defend all day.

Where has that come from, Stokes?!
Ben Stokes swipes across the line to Nathan Lyon and slog sweeps him to the boundary for four.
That's the first time Stokes has broke free of his self-imposed shackles.
Mitchell Starc probing outside Jos Buttler's off stump before straightening one up which the England batter nudges off his pads for a single.
The Adelaide Oval is very sparsely populated at the moment. A handful of Australia-based England fans have turned up to represent the Barmy Army.

It is not swinging into the right-hander from Starc. England can line-up the left-hander. Pope just flicked at his dismissal.
Ben Stokes comes forward this time and pushes at one from Nathan Lyon and it pings low off the shoulder of the bat to point.
A couple of balls later and Stokes waggles his willow to one which spun big and gets an edge but...it just drops short of the slips.
Stokes out to Lyon just feels inevitable at the moment.
Mitchell Starc is huffing and puffing a little in what is surely his final over before Steve Smith gives him a break.
Jos Buttler watches well this over, before digging out a couple of yorkers.
A maiden for Starc.
Nathan Lyon is getting the ball to really bounce off a good length. Ben Stokes has decided his approach is to play it as late as possible, and largely on the back foot.
Lyon's final delivery, though, skids on and strikes Stokes on the pad. Australia appeals vociferously, but it struck the England all-rounder outside the line.
England take a couple of comfortable singles of Mitchell Starc, who wipes the sweat away from his brow at the end of the over. Steve Smith will probably use his quicks in short and sharp bursts today.
England need, ahem, 376 runs to win by the way.
Nathan Lyon wraps Ben Stokes, who is deep in his crease on the back foot, on the pad again and the Aussies appeal.
Australia decide against a review. A touch too high, perhaps?

That is a big error and the first we have seen from Carey.
Huge let-off for Jos Buttler.
He's drawn into nicking one from Mitchell Starc but wicketkeeper Alex Carey and the slip cordon are reminiscent of Antony Gormley's iron statues on Crosby beach as they stand their motionless allowing the ball to race away to the boundary.
It was probably Carey's catch to dive for, but he expected first slip David Warner to pick it up.
