Harry: England have found a way... they've glued the bails on!
Stokes and Bairstow do bat incredibly well together, so maybe the bail just wanted to watch them a little longer.
Bairstow has called for a new bat while Stokes is pacing around, gingerly prodding his side.

The ball was at least a ball's width away from the pad, how did umpire Paul Reiffel think that was out lbw?
I'm still thinking about the Stokes non-dismissal. I don't understand how that's been given out lbw!
Anyway, Jonny Bairstow clips a Starc leg-stump yorker away for four.
Mitchell Starc is coming on.

Ben Stokes has grabbed for his side again after playing that shot. Every time he plays a big shot it hurts him. He is down on his haunches now.
Ben Stokes swats Cameron Green away for four!
Stokes instantly clutches his side and drops to his knees. Every shot hurts him right now.

That was a bizarre sequence of play.
Essentially: Stokes shouldered arms, the ball hit the off stump and the bail didn't come off.
I, truly, have no idea why that was given out lbw. Anyway, Stokes uppercuts for a couple of runs.

It hit off stump quite solidly and the bail started to come out of the groove and then fell back in.
I don't know how Paul Reiffel has given that out.
What a weird session this has been.
Oh, it has!
The ball has hit the top of off stump, the bail has moved, but it hasn't come off!
It's nowhere near the pad so I've got no idea how that's been given out lbw...
Someone is tapping the stump and the bail isn't coming off.
I think the delivery has hit the top of off stump but the bail hasn't come off.

Are they saying that the ball clipped the stump?
Huge, huge, huge appeal for lbw against Ben Stokes - and given!
Stokes reviews and Marnus Labuschagne, for some reason, takes the decision to review personally.
Cameron Green will replace Scott Boland, who has 2-5 from his eight overs.

Ben Stokes' head went up as he got back for the third run. He's starting to struggle here. You could see it as he played the shot too - he grimaced.
I think he may be on the plane home after this game.
Ben Stokes is in a lot of pain, y'know. He's walking so heavily between deliveries, grimacing and touching his side.
He plays a drive that gets away for two runs but that's cost him. He grips his side as he runs through for a single. He's such a gutsy cricketer but I don't know how long - or how wise it is, to be honest - he can carry on for.

I'm not sure how that failed to carry. Ah, it came off the glove, that's why.
The ball has hit the glove a lot in the England innings, far more than in the Australia innings. It is the extra pace and bounce.
