The sun is out now. That is a welcome relief after the rain earlier in the day.
I thought England had got a bye earlier but, er, they hadn't.
So it's 66 balls and counting since England last scored a run.

Andrew Morris: At this point I'd just be happy for a run. Any run. Baby steps. Is a 25-run partnership too much to hope for?
Nearly another, as Jonny Bairstow tries to swing into a pull, misses, and he gets thunked on the arm.
I don't think there was any glove on that, although Cameron Green made a truly heroic effort at gully to catch it.
It takes all of two deliveries before Pat Cummins has Jonny Bairstow fiddling outside off stump, feet in the air as the ball shapes back in to the batter.

All the pressure will be released now because Pat Cummins is coming on. He's known for bowling leg-stump half volleys...
Pat Cummins is on for a bowl.
Oh! Ben Stokes is beaten all ends up by Scott Boland's final delivery, the ball just nipping past the outside edge.
Boland, incidentally, has yet to concede a run from his five overs.

They could probably switch the lights off now, but on we go with the lights on.
Scott Boland is on for a bowl.
Cameron Green spears a horrible delivery down the leg side.
Right. Here we go.
The players are back out. Scott Boland is looking rather bashful as he gets another huge ovation from a section of the SCG crowd.
Cameron Green has one ball left in his pre-lunch over.
It feels like Groundhog Day. Before the Test, the talk is of improving, of learning from mistakes, of putting pride back into the Test team.
Then as soon as England walk out to bat, the same mistakes happen over and over. And it gets to a point when you're not surprised or disappointed or even angry any more. It just feels a bit... meh.

Mark Hollings: There’s no point getting annoyed anymore. This must be the worst batting line-up in English Test history. Beyond embarrassing.
'Honestly, lads, if I'd have connected, it would have gone for four.'

Andy March: England will lose by an innings. Today. So disappointing.

Everyone has chipped in for Australia. Every change they have made has worked.
Don't get me wrong, England have provided some very helpful assists along the way. But this has been a genuine team performance from Australia.
This is undoubtedly a bad shot, but I also think it's a tired shot from a tired player.
