Time for Australia to slow it down a little bit with pace coming onto the bat nicely in the last two overs.

It's time for left-arm spinner Jess Jonassen.

All of a sudden the runs are starting to flow for England...

  3. Eng 29-0published at 4 overs

Poor ball. Tayla Vlaeminck strays onto the hip of Tammy Beaumont and she pulls it round the corner to pick up her third boundary.

Four more! Banged in again and Beaumont pulls through square for the third boundary in the over.

She - and England - are motoring all of a sudden. Beaumont has 23 from 16 balls.

  4. Eng 20-0published at 3.2 overs

    Good cricket.

Tayla Vlaeminck drops short and Tammy Beaumont goes deep in her crease to crack away a pull shot to the fence, before stealing a single to mid-on.

Danni Wyatt misses with a big ol' heave ho to end the over.

Unsurprisingly the pace of Tayla Vlaeminck will continue at the other end.

She'll be disappointed with that. She got both hands to it.

    Oh! Big moment!

Tammy Beaumont cracks one back at Tahlia McGrath, but the Aussie medium-pacer can't gather cleanly in her follow through. It was nailed back at her, but she got two hands to it and she'll be disappointed with that.

How costly could that prove to be? Beaumont is not someone you want to drop.

Both of these players are really inventive, and that's when these two batters are at their best. They can afford to do that on these wickets.

    Shot!

Tammy Beaumont gets down low and pre-meditates a paddle over her right shoulder. She times it perfectly and picks up the first boundary of the day.

    Cracking shot.

England's batting is very top heavy, which is not totally unusual in T20 cricket.

England have a fairly consistent team. It's good to see Maia Bouchier getting an opportunity after coming out to the WBBL and playing for the Melbourne Stars.

Nice from Tammy Beaumont. She picks up three with a lovely shot from mid-wicket.

A good, tidy start from the hosts though. There's plenty of pace in this pace and good movement with the new ball.

Tammy Beaumont has got a new helmet on and we're ready to go again.

The TV coverage have been speaking to Alyssa Healy throughout this over and delay so far. We need to bring this into the English game. It is like an episode of Life Stories.

Beaumont was looking to take that on. She's going to have to change her helmet too. No batter likes that.
