That was fortunate for Wyatt, she tried to drop the ball into the leg-side but it dropped perilously close to her leg stump.

Just a single from Kapp's fourth, who is giving very little away. She causes a little discomfort for Danni Wyatt, who attempts a drop-and-run into the midwicket region but the ball just plops beside her stumps.
Here's how South Africa took their one wicket so far this morning, that of Tammy Beaumont.

Wyatt had gone very deep in her crease, almost making that ball shorter than it was and cut it past a flying Laura Wolvaardt.
South Africa have a clear plan to Danni Wyatt, knowing she is susceptible to playing with hard hands outside off stump and slicing the ball to point.
A couple of cut shots find the fielder, before Wyatt wins the battle eventually with a four - although each shot is slightly aerial, so she needs to be careful.

It's been a good start from South Africa, England 16-1 after six overs and six of them came in the first over. It's only been two runs an over since then.
A quiet start from Heather Knight, with just a single from 11 balls so far, as she seems content to just settle in against Marizanne Kapp.

England really, really need these two to stick around for another 10 overs. They've lost an early wicket, now can they rebuild?
A probing over from Shabnim Ismail. It doesn't bring a wicket, but she continues to test the England pair's defences.
If South Africa can grab another wicket before the powerplay, they will be delighted with this start.

Now would be an excellent time for the England captain to find her very best.
A pumped up Marizanne Kapp is something to behold. The master of mind games, she immediately brings in another slip as Heather Knight comes to the crease.

Bit of a nothing shot from Tammy Beaumont. She shuffles down the pitch, it moves away from her late and she just follows it with her bat rather than letting it go.
Beaumont c Chetty b Kapp 7 (Eng 10-1)
It may not be the lbw but Kapp gets the breakthrough! Beaumont caught behind for a single-figure score and England's opening partnership struggles continue.
Just a hint of movement away from Beaumont combined with Kapp's bounce extracts the outside edge - it's a tame dismissal. She didn't have to play at it.
Marizanne Kapp is pumped.

That previous lbw appeal is how to get Beaumont. It was close, it was umpire's call.
South Africa have done their research on Tammy Beaumont's vulnerability to an early lbw.
She's pinned on the front pad playing across the line of a straight one once again. It's given not out, but positive signs for South Africa that their plan is working.
Can they hold their nerve enough, and stay patient, to make it count?

Tammy Beaumont looks on it. She's absolutely pounding the surface with her bat - that's not gardening, it's assault!

South Africa are saying they won't be thinking about the 2017 semi-final today, but they will be.
Marizanne Kapp, star of South Africa's group stage win against England, takes the second over.
She gets some awkward bounce to surprise Beaumont and slice the top of the bat, but the ball just flies over slip for a single.
A couple of loose shots from Wyatt in that over, which will encourage South Africa.

That's clonked Tammy Beaumont on the helmet. That is quick from Shabnim Ismail. How's that for a start to the semi-final.
