I must say though, people talk about skiers being dollys but I'd much rather have a ball smacked at me hard than a skier. With a skier, you have the variables of wind, thinking time etc, but you just have to react quickly in the ring.

A big moment for Welsh Fire as Mignon du Preez is dismissed quite tamely, spooning a slower ball from Georgia Hennessy into the hands of Bryony Smith at mid-off.

Mignon du Preez hammers back-to-back boundaries. First she dances down the pitch and hits it through mid on, and then plays a fine late cut which beats the fielder at point.

Mignon du Preez is given a bit of width in the final ball of the set and she cracks it over the ring of fielders and the sweeper is unable to cut it off as it races across the rope.
