Evin Lewis eased the pressure that South Africa built from the first couple of overs by doing this. They could do with him hitting a few more.

This is some serious pace from Nortje.
South Africa are pulling themselves back into this - just one from Nortje's over. He's bowling quick and getting both batters in some really uncomfortable positions.
Worth saying that Evin Lewis has 36 and Simmons has seven from 19 balls.

The return of spin does the trick for South Africa, Keshav Maharaj's first over going for just three singles.
Evin Lewis does take a huge swipe at the final delivery, trying to hit it out the ground - but you could get a bus through the gap between bat and ball.
After a subdued start, that's a decent powerplay for West Indies. They'll be delighted to have not lost any wickets after their performance against England.
Can they make it count?

It took off from a length and Klaasen was almost taking evasive action from the catch.
Now then! Quick, bit of awkward bounce from Nortje and Simmons fends at it. It looks like a simple catch through to the keeper Klaasen, but he's nowhere near it!
No Quinton de Kock behind the stumps, remember ...
Four more! Lewis goes straight down the ground and he's in the mood.
He has 34 from 21 balls, while Lendl Simmons has just four runs to his name.
Here's Anrich Nortje to bowl.

That was a much needed over. You knew over four or five had to be big. The intent so far from West Indies has been good and you have to give credit to South Africa - the first few overs, they hit their straps.
And he finishes the over with a straight four, clubbed over mid-on. The slow start pays off!
What a difference that change of bat has done for Evin Lewis! Six more!

That's a 10, never mind a six...
Things are certainly going West Indies' way now. Markram drops way too short and that is absolutely hammered into the stands by Evin Lewis.

These are the little things that, as a batting unit, you want to start seeing go your way.

Rassie van der Dussen tried to shield his eyes from the sunshine and couldn't quite get there in time.
It's all happening now! Simmons goes for a slog sweep, it's up in the air but Rassie van der Dussen, running in from the boundary, allows it to fall in front of him. Could he have made more effort to get there?
Easy for me to say, of course.

This has set up the back end of the powerplay nicely.
