  1. Aus 15-0published at 2 overs

    Target 155

Tidy enough start from Maheesh Theekshana with just six runs coming from his first over.

There's a run out opportunity from the final ball as David Warner is sent back by Aaron Finch but the left-hander still has that pace and comfortably makes it home.

You don't play that shot if you're not in form!

  3. Aus 14-0published at 1.3 overs

    Target 155

    That's a shot.

David Warner doesn't want the spinner to settle so he pre-meditates the reverse sweep and gets enough back on it to clear short third and point and the ball runs away.

He takes a single from the next ball. Good cricket from the man under severe pressure.

It'll be the spin of Maheesh Theekshana from the other end.

The majority of you are backing Sri Lanka by the way...

    That's really poor bowling.

  6. Aus 9-0published at 1 over

Sigh. More width from Chamika Karunaratne and Aaron Finch again finds the cover boundary.

Sri Lanka had put a boundary rider out but this was much squarer and raced away.

That's better. Karunaratne cuts Finch in half to end the over. Target the stumps.

  7. Aus 5-0published at 0.3 overs

    Target 155

    Short, wide, four.

You can't bowl there to anyone, let alone Aaron Finch.

Chamika Karunaratne offers plenty of width and the Aussie captain threads off the off-side fielders and away to the fence.

Wickets in the powerplay are where games are won and lost.

  9. Aus 1-0published at 0.1 overs

    Target 155

David Warner gets off the mark straight away with a nurdle off his hip.

The players are out in the middle. Australia need David Warner and Aaron Finch to find some runs and lay them a solid platform.

Sri Lanka will start with the right-arm pace of Chamika Karunaratne.

Much needed from Rajapaksa. Sri Lanka owe him a lot.

Australia's Mitchell Starc, who took 2-27: "We dragged them back nicelty after the poweplay. We think it's a pretty average score for this wicket so we back ourselves ot chase it down. We've definitely got the firepower in the shed."

We've got a game on our hands now and that is great. This is a must-win game for each side in my opinion because they've both got to face England yet. You might be able to lose one game but losing two might make it difficult.

    Thanks Ffion.

This should be a cracker. Who do you fancy?

Thumbs up for Australia. Thumbs down for Sri Lanka.

Right then, that's me done for now. Time to hand over to Callum Matthews to take you through the second innings.

    Let's hope we're in for a thriller.

Australia will put on that bravado that they do. They'll say they'll have been expecting to chase 175 but if they got off to a good start in the powerplay they will fancy chasing this.

Perfect leg stump yorker to finish and they scamper a single.
