    This is an absolute shambles.

  2. Aus 58-0published at 5 overs

    Target 155

Aaron Finch can't capitalise on the free hit. He clubs it straight to mid-on and turns down the single.

That is one of the most outrageous deliveries I've even seen in international cricket.

  4. Aus 56-0published at 4.5 overs

    Target 155

    What an earth is that!?!

Dushmantha Chameera has got this slower ball completely wrong. It didn't land on the current pitch and I'm not sure it landed on the next one.

    A free hit for Australia...

He couldn't drop that again if he tried.

    That was a 100-out-of-100 catch.

  7. dropped catch

Warner dropped on 18published at 4.4 overs

    Aus 54-0; Target 155

    Oh no, this is horrendous.

David Warner cloths a pull shot down the leg side and through to Kusal Perera behind the stumps but he shells it. Has he closed his hands too quickly? It looks like it has hit the hard, fleshy part just before the thumb.

Dushmantha Chameera was off celebrating and umpire Richard Illingworth had started to raise his finger already and then almost put his hand over his mouth in utter disbelief.

    That is a shocker.

  8. Aus 54-0published at 4.3 overs

    Target 155

Finch picks up four more with a cut to the third boundary.

The win predictor has got it 86-14 in Australia's favour now.

    Aus 49-0published at 4.1 overs

    Target 155

My days. Australia are in a hurry here.

Aaron Finch plants Dushmantha Chameera back over his head another six.

Finch has now scored 2,500 runs in international Twenty20's. He is just the fifth person to reach that landmark after Virat Kohli, Martin Guptill, Rohit Sharma and Paul Stirling.

If you don't quite get your line and length right to this Australia pair, they will capitalise on it.

  12. Aus 43-0published at 4 overs

    Target 155

The moment David Warner's form changes?

He tries to pull Lahiru Kumara away but gets a thick edge past his stumps and away past short fine leg for four.

WOW! Shot! It is a decent delivery from Kumara but Warner pulverises a drive back ground the down and away for another boundary. Kumara had to dive out the way and Glenn Maxwell put his hands to his face in disbelief on the Australia balcony.

    Aus 34-0published at 3.3 overs

    Target 134

My word. Aaron Finch looks in good touch here.

He picks up four more with another beautiful drive down the ground, before upper cutting over third for the first six of the innings.

It is shelled in the ground. Poor.

Fourth over, fourth bowler for Sri Lanka.

Lahiru Kumara is having a bowl now.

This was cheeky, but unsuccessful, from Pat Cummins...

  17. Aus 23-0published at 3 overs

    Target 155

Today is the first time in seven innings that Aaron Finch has passed 10 in a T20 international in the UAE. That seems remarkable.

Good start for Australia this. They are laying a platform.

There is a real keeness out there from Sri Lanka. They're right on this.

  19. Aus 19-0published at 2.1 overs

Dushmantha Chameera is on for Sri Lanka...

.... and Dushmantha Chameera is dispatched to the boundary by Aaron Finch.

He toe-ends this straight drive but it is timed well enough to beat mid-on and bring up a third boundary.
