Need 117 from 90 balls
Superb from Mujeeb ur Rahman. Just two singles from his third over and he has figures of 1-9 now.
Win predictor is 58-42 in Pakistan's favour at the moment. Interesting.

There's a few nervous faces in the Pakistan dressing room. They know this won't be an easy win.

He's nailed that one! That is the best of Fakhar Zaman.
Need 119 from 96 balls
Catch it! Oh! Just out of the reach of Karim Janat at mid-wicket from Fakhar Zaman as he swipes at one.
Oh my days! What a shot! That is much better. Fakhar takes a step down the track and plants Mohammad Nabi into the second tier. A serious shot.

Target 148
This is exactly the start that Afghanistan would have wanted.
New batter Fakhar Zaman is up and running with a single, but the required run-rate is already sneaking up towards eight an over.

That's a huge blow for Pakistan.

That's the wicket Afghanistan were looking for! Rizwan hit it pretty well, if the fielder wasn't there it would've gone for six.
Rizwan c Ul-Haq b Mujeeb 8 (Pak 12-1)
Breakthrough!
This feels like a big moment. Mohammad Rizwan is the leading run-scorer in Twenty20 internationals in 2021 with 872 runs and an average just shy of 100.
After two dot balls the pressure came and he looks to slog sweep, and makes good connection, but it straight to Naveen-ul-Haq on the square-leg boundary.

Now we hear the crowd roar after the first boundary of the innings.
Target 148
Ah. It had been a decent over from Mohammad Nabi with just four singles, but Mohammad Rizwan tarnishes it somewhat with a beautiful sweep over fine leg for the first boundary of this Pakistan chase.
Hit emmmm!
That is close.
Babar Azam nudges into the leg-side and there is a little bit of hesitation about the single.
The throw is just wide of the stumps though and Babar may have an inch or two short with a direct hit.
Double spin for Afghanistan.
It'll be the captain Mohammad Nabi and his off-spin from the other end.

I love watching Afghanistan play. They are like clubbies that have been allowed to play international cricket for the day. They are obviously better than that but their approach.

Will we see the same frenetic start to this innings as we did with Afghanistan?
Target 148
Good tidy start from Mujeeb, with just three singles coming off it.
There was a little bit of drift there for him too.
The players are out in the middle.
Mujeeb Ur Rahman will bowl the first over.

Pakistan's bowlers have been exciting with the ball again. The batters will be looking forward to coming out and chasing this - it looks like a good pitch.

I'm not sure why Pakistan went away from bowling their best ball and started taking pace off. Maybe they thought it was going to grip more?
