Pakistan spinner Imad Wasim, who took 2-25: "It is fantastic playing here. The supporters of both teams are here and it is fantastic to be here.

"They played really well at the end. It is a very good score but I'm very hopeful we can chase it down.

"It was just stopping a bit at the start but it was coming on better by the end."

From where they were after 10 overs they will be very happy with that. It gives them an opportunity especially if they take a wicket or two with the new ball.

    Thanks Ffion.

Mohammad Nabi and Gulbadin Naib were both brilliant in that unbroken partnership of 71 and they have given Afghanistan, with their artillery of world-class spinners, a real chance.

This should be a cracker. Who do you think will win?

Thumbs up for Pakistan. Thumbs down for Afghanistan.

  4. Pakistan need 148 to winpublished at 16:48 British Summer Time 29 October 2021

A great fightback from the Afghanistan batters, adding 71 for the seventh wicket, but Pakistan probably still favourites for this one. Or are we in for an upset?

Here's Callum Matthews to take you through the second innings.

It could be close but I'm backing Pakistan. They have a world-class batting line-up.

This is a total now where Afghanistan will feel like they've got a real go, particularly if they start well and set it up for their spinners.

  7. Afg 147-6published at 20 overs

Shaheen does well and the free hit concedes just a single.

What a recovery that is from Afghanistan, fighting back from 76-6. Gulbadin and Nabi finish with 35 not out each.

Babar Azam has had a massive sense of humour failure here.

No-ball on height and a free hit!

    Babar Azam is fuming.

  10. Afg 145-6published at 19.5 overs

Should've been a run out, but Shaheen doesn't get back to the stumps and instead, Afghanistan steal a second run. One ball remaining ...

Gulbadin Naib has played a little blinder here at the end.

  12. Afg 141-6published at 19.2 overs

Shaheen with the final over. Two singles from the first two balls. Gulbadin looks exhausted. At the end of the last over he had to pause for a breather.

I'm guessing it was a slower ball?

Tell me again what that was...?

  16. Afg 140-6published at 19 overs

Another four!! This is remarkable batting. I'm not quite sure how they've made it to 140, but it's been a great fightback.

Gulbadin has 33 from 21 balls and Nabi 32 from 29.

Another slower ball goes to the boundary...

And another! Excellent recovery from Afghanistan here and for the first time, Pakistan look a little flustered.

  19. Afg 131-6published at 18.3 overs

Four more, flying off the edge down to third and definitely not where Nabi intended it to go, but he'll take it!

This has been a really good recovery because at one stage it did look like they'd struggle to get 100.
