We didn't know If these cheers could get any louder but they seem to be. We didn't know there was another decibel they could reach but blimey, the noise around this stadium!
They scamper a single from the final ball and Hasan Ali absolutely rockets the ball at the stumps in rage - thankfully, someone's backing it up.
And that certainly won't help his frustration. He's bowled a no-ball and given away a free hit.
Another four! Great batting this from Afghanistan, this time Gulbadin crunching the ball straight past the bowler.

Afghanistan have targeted Hasan Ali. If he's the weaker link then the other two are very, very good.
He just missed his yorker by a little bit there.
Four more! 10 runs from the first two balls of the over and this is ideal for Afghanistan.

I don't understand it either because these guys can bowl 90mph. The slower ball isn't gripping so just bowl the toe cruncher or a fast bouncer.

Again it was a slower ball. Just run in and bowl your best ball.
Crunched over midwicket for six! Hasan Ali attempts a slower ball that sits up nicely to be absolutely hammered into the stands.

If Afghanistan get to 135 or 140 it would provide them with a bit of a buffer with the two world-class spinners they have. That would at least make it a contest.
Pakistan would have to play well.
A testing over from Haris Rauf concedes just three runs as he bamboozles Gulbadin with variations of pace.

It doesn't matter how fast you are, if you don't get the line right it presents a boundary option.
Gulbadin helps himself to four as Shaheen drifts down the leg side. His pace means the ball races away to the boundary and the fielders have no chance.
Afghanistan bring up their team century in the process.
Boom Boom Afridi is watching on in Dubai...
And the crowd has also just clocked him and gone absolutely wild!

I remember when Shaheen first came on the scene I was 12th man for England and he was for Pakistan.
He came over introduced himself and was telling me about everyone he had got out so far.
He loves the game and is excited. That was three or four years ago and since he has done really well for them.
Here comes Shaheen.
Five overs to go. Two of them will be delivered by Shaheen Shah Afridi. What can Afghanistan manage?

If you bowl there Nabi is going to hit you for four. Not a great ball.
Mohammad Nabi is enjoying pace on the ball so far as he smashes Hasan Ali for another boundary past cover. Don't bowl there...

That is a beautiful cricket shot. Nabi is so dangerous if he does get in. He can score a quick fifty if he has to.
Rauf is disappointed with the length he has bowled. He wants to be bails height.
