India need to be very careful what bowlers they use in the powerplay. They need to be careful not to try get two or three overs of Shardul Thakur out of the way because New Zealand could get 20-30 runs off him.
India can't win the game in the powerplay, but they can lose it.

Well, for all the disappointment in India, this game is not over yet. They are undoubtedly favourites at the halfway mark but New Zealand's batting wasn't at its best in their first outing against Pakistan.
Virat Kohli leads his team out to the middle with a very steely look on his face. He doesn't look in the mood for cracking jokes, let's put it that way.
Optimism, that's what we love to see.

New Zealand spinner Ish Sodhi: "It played a little bit slower than we expected.
"The main tactic was bowling first and the toss was based on that. We didn't expect it to a turn a huge amount and neither did it. If you bowl a bit slower it holds in the pitch a little bit.
"It is tough to catch here. We would definitely have taken restricting them to under 120."

That was a good knuckle ball from Tim Southee. It took all the pace out of the ball.
The lights can make catching difficult at Dubai.
Southee with the final ball of the innings, it's short and powered away towards the fine leg boundary and DROPPED by Ish Sodhi.
He can't believe it, though it does not prove too costly as India only run one.
In the air...but safe! Ravindra Jadeja top edges it into the on side but no fielder can snare it and India can run two.
