  4. Ind 52-4published at 11 overs

Hardik Pandya is the next batter as India can only add four singles off the rest of Ish Sodhi's over.

The crowd, so loud and boisterous an hour or so ago, seem stunned.

This is doom for India. They needed Virat Kohli to stay there until at least the 17th or 18th over.

The Indian's need to clear the changing room! Virat Kohli is not happy.

    That's a sentence I'd never thought I'd see.

India lacked intent in the first six overs. They have always been like that and take the route of caution. They'd rather take the risk in the final six overs.

They need to reassess that approach. It has worked for them in the past but I'm not sure it is anymore. They need to take the England route and go really big and hard in the first six overs.

There was a little bit of extra showing off there from Trent Boult. It is a massive wicket.

India are in all sorts of bother.

    Skipper Kohli has gone!

He showed the intent that India need but his heave towards cow corner does not have enough on it and Trent Boult pouches a smart catch at long-on!

    A huge wicket!

  12. Ind 48-3published at 10 overs

It's only ones and twos for India after more disciplined stuff from Mitchell Santner.

We have reached the halfway stage and India have yet to breach 50. Something special is needed here, there is no point just trundling along.

Nearly a carbon copy of the first wicket, Rahul can't believe it as he perfectly picks out Mitchell at deep midwicket. He barely had to move.

This is very good captaincy and leadership from Kane Williamson to bring Adam Milne back on to two new batters after his expensive first over.

  15. Ind 43-3published at 9 overs

Some glum expression on the faces of the Indian fans in the stands.

Adam Milne continues and India can only nudge two singles. He will be feeling better about himself now. The run rate is just 4.78.

India are so far behind the game already I don't know if they can afford to just play out a few overs.

Where do India go from here? They don't have enough time for a slow rebuild, they need to attack from the off.

Rishabh Pant is capable of that, though. He is always great to watch.

India are crumbling again. They are in all sorts of trouble and they need a special innings here.

Maybe it is Rishabh Pant's night. Virat Kohli will have to stay with him until the end.

Would you believe it!?! It was a bad ball and Rohit Sharma didn't connect properly.

I've seen Ish Sodhi pick up quite a few wickets with bad balls in international cricket.
