    There is no bat.

This looks umpire's call at worse to be honest.

Liton Das is hoping that somehow this is missing something. I thought it was bowled initially.

    Shamsi strikes first ball!

He's got Liton Das out lbw but the Bangladesh keeper and opener sends it upstairs.

    Here is Tabraiz Shamsi.

It has been difficult for Bangladesh but I don't think it's a 43-5 pitch.

  6. Ban 43-5published at 11 overs

It'll be interesting to see how South Africa negotiate the final nine overs of this innings now. Pace has been the key so far but they've only just four overs of speed left.

The number one-ranked bowler in the world Tabraiz Shamsi hasn't even had a bowl yet. Aiden Markram and Shamsi will have to get through four between them if Bangladesh bat through the overs.

Just three singles from Maharaj's over.

It'll be the left-arm spin of Keshav Maharaj after the drinks break.

The conditions have been perfect for South Africa to unleash their fast bowlers. The pitch is green, they've got good bounce from it.

I'm not sure Bangladesh can get themselves out of this. They're really struggling.

South Africa have been ruthless and very business-like in their approach. They look like a team with confidence.

Some news from the England camp.

Fast bowler Tymal Mills has a tight right quad and will have a scan in the next 48 hours to determine the extent of the injury.

He walked off the field yesterday midway through an over during England’s victory over Bangladesh.

Bangladesh have really struggled against the extra pace today and you can tell it's not something they're used to dealing with in their home conditions.

  13. Ban 39-5published at 10 overs

I love watching Anrich Nortje bowl. He sends down a vicious bouncer that has Shamim Hossain ducking. He left his bat up there, risky.

Time for a drink. I wonder what is going to be said in the Bangladesh huddle?

Here's how South Africa and Kagiso Rabada got their third wicket.

Decent grab? Lucky grab? I'll let you decide.

They've got to build an innings around Liton Das here. That's the only hope for Bangladesh.

This is a really difficult situation for Liton Das. You feel like he needs to attack but he's the only recognised batter left, so he can't afford to get out.

  17. Ban 36-5published at 9 overs

England captain Eoin Morgan was getting a lot of flak for scoring too slowly during the first half of his innings yesterday but this is further evidence of just how good that innings was.

Morgan caught up and gave Jos Buttler a platform to attack. Nobody is sticking with Liton Das, who is on 19, at the moment for Bangladesh.

It's a poor shot, he didn't give himself a chance to get in but that's what a lack of runs on the board does to you as a batter.

Gone first ball! An absolutely shocking shot.

I'm sorry, but what is that? Afif Hossain decides to come back the pitch to his first ball and have a big heave over mid-wicket. He misses and the ball flicks off his pads and into the stumps.

That is not good cricket from Bangladesh.
