For Bangladesh, their hopes have come to an end. A difficult tournament where they failed to win a game.

Losing Shakib Al Hasan for this fixture was a big blow to their chances but it was probably still too much of an ask.

Player of the match Kagiso Rabada: "The wicket favoured the seamers and I'm just glad that today was my day.

"Every time we have the opportunity to practice we try and implement what could possibly work for us and we always train hard and I guess today it worked for us.

"It is nice to see some swing again, particularly in the T20 format. I've played a few IPL games here and it wasn't a surprise to see that because we've seen it for quite a period here before."

That win takes South Africa to second in Group One behind England.

Their net run-rate is now far superior to Australia's, who are behind them, so they've given themselves a very good chance of qualifying.

South Africa are finding their rhythm at the right stage and that is what you need in tournament cricket. Momentum is key and Australia will have been watching closely and they'll be under pressure now because it will likely come down to net run-rate between those two sides and Australia's heavy defeat to England could be detrimental.

Temba Bavuma finishes with 31 not out. He was under pressure when his side lost three early wickets, but played with the right amount of calmness and aggression to lead the chase.

A chase of 120 could have been really interesting.

    Bangladesh put pressure on throughout.

That is definitely going to help their net run-rate tremendously and extend their advantage in second place.

It was quite empathic from South Africa and a really clever performance and use of conditions.

    What a catch!

Rassie van der Dussen tries to win the game with a six, but Shoriful spoils his fun by pulling off a remarkable catch running backwards and putting in a full-length dive to grab it inches off the ground.

The victory will go South Africa's way but that's given Bangladesh something to celebrate on a difficult day.
