Mahedi Hasan's cameo comes to an end. A score of 100 looks a long way away now.

    Mahedi c & b Nortje 27 (Ban 84-9)

    And he strikes straight away!

Mahedi departs and with him go Bangladesh's hopes of reaching 100, you'd expect. He takes a big slog at Nortje's first ball and top edges it back to the bowler for a simple caught and bowled.

However, he has Anrich Nortje to contend with.

  4. Ban 84-8published at 18 overs

Tabraiz Shamsi completes his spell and finishes with 2-21.

Mahedi Hasan, on 27, keeps the strike with two overs to go. I'd like to see him whack a couple more sixes, let Bangladesh finish the innings with a little bit of momentum.

Talk about against the run of ball! He isn't holding back. He wants to go to the Alex Hartley School of finishing T20s.

    What is this? A six?

Absolutely hammered by Mahedi Hasan over cover and that is by far the shot of the day. There's not much competition, but still.

Temba Bavuma is setting the standard for his side.

That is a terrific direct hit.

Taskin run out Bavuma 3 (Ban 77-8)

Don't take a quick single to Temba Bavuma.

A risky run and Bavuma pounces to throw down the stumps. He does well to realise he has a bit of time to settle himself as the batter was miles away and makes the most of it.

Bangladesh are just happy to score. They aren't taking many risks.

As a captain I would rather my team get bowled out for 80 here looking to take some risks than play this cricket. You've got absolutely nothing to lose. Just go for it, hit out or get out.

  11. Ban 77-7published at 17 overs

Bangladesh help themselves to plenty of singles from Pretorius' over. Could they drag themselves up to 100?

Got a bit carried away with the excitement of the boundary that I forgot to describe it. Short from Tabraiz Shamsi and Hasan crunches it through midwicket for four.

Nine runs from that over. Yes, nine!

I thought that was going to land in the hands of a fielder but he perfectly bisected the fielders.

    A BOUNDARY!!!

He was just looking to take that risk but he hasn't got hold of it. It was a necessary shot but had he just played it along the ground, into the pockets, and picked a couple like the ball before, that would probably have been a better option.

    Shamim c Maharaj b Shamsi 11 (Ban 64-7)

    Another wicket falls.

Not much else that Shamim could do here. He slogs Shamsi high, high in the air trying to clear the ropes, but picks out the fielder on the long-on boundary.

    Relentless from South Africa.

Opener Liton Das dug in for Bangladesh but wickets collapsing around him made his job very difficult.

  19. Ban 62-6published at 15 overs

Shamim slogs the ball up in the air but it plugs in the ground and they scamper two.

Rabada's spell is done and he has 3-20. Decent.
