(SA 119-2)
The sky gets darker and the rain hammers down. The umpires sprint to the bails and we're going to stop play.
Two leg byes as a wide one flicks off Markram's pads down to fine-leg to start another Rashid over.
Oh hang on. The rain has got heavier...

Quinton de Kock has been effortless so far. He has cruised along.

I do quite fancy having a go Sam Curran's hair myself, but I'm not sure it would suit me quite as much.
De Kock 68, Markram 5
We are playing on despite a drizzle, fair play to the umpires.
Sam Curran's over is very similar to Rashid's latest with four singles from the first five balls before De Kock cuts nicely for two.

The radar would suggest there is quite a heavy batch on the way. It does look ominous to be honest.
This rain has changed the momentum slightly with England now keeping South Africa in check.
Adil Rashid's latest over goes for four with very little drama in it.

South Africa will have a good idea of what a good score is now.
The outfield is fast but the wicket might take some of those runs away.

It looks like the umpires are going to give this shower the opportunity to pass.
We don't dissolve...
Another dot before a thick inside-edge brings up a single to end the over.
The umpires have a quick glance at each other but decide we're good to carry on.

If it is raining at the moment it is very light.
But they might have to go off in a minute.
De Kock 61, Markram 1
We continue for the moment. Sam Curran bowls another dot to new batter Markram.
The clouds are looking very dark.
It's raining.

Adil Rashid struggled in his first over but he's pulled it back nicely and got the key breakthrough.
Aiden Markram is off the mark straight away with a single to long-off which brings up South Africa's 100.
Another single from de Kock completes a very good over for England and Adil Rashid.

The Yorkshire combination gets the breakthrough! And that is a good time for it, they were building nicely.

The sweep shot is a strength of Van der Dussen's but he's just not timed it well. He is a gritty player, a big wicket because the way he plays allows South Africa's big hitters to play aggressively around him.
Van der Dussen c Bairstow b Rashid 26 (SA 99-2)
A Yorkshire wicket and boy it was needed!
South Africa rotate the strike to start Adil Rashid's over but Rassie van der Dussen wants to up the rate.
He gets down on one knee but can't get enough on to his looping sweep and Jonny Bairstow takes two steps forward to take an easy catch.
That breaks a 75-run partnership.
