I'm going to go ahead and say no, Rich...
Here's Stuart Broad for his first bowl of the innings. Still wearing a headband, for reasons best known to himself.

Got day 4 tickets. Is it realistic to expect to see any action?

Hello!
Aiden Markram lets a teasing delivery from Ollie Robinson jag back into him and just over the top of his stumps. That was a beauty.

I've got a history of being at a Test the day before something great happens; I was at Headingley the day before Stokes went nuts in the ashes. I was at Trent Bridge earlier this year, the day before Bairstow's innings. And, I was at Old Trafford yesterday, just saying....

Terrible shot but a good review, ultimately.

Nowhere near it! That was a really bizarre replay, it was almost like the sound didn't match up with the shots. Keegan Petersen was through the shot very early.
Keegan Petersen survives!
James Anderson is phlegmatic about the whole situation.
Oh, he's missed it by a mile!
The noise is bat hitting boot, I think.
I mean, it's a bad shot, a loose, wafty drive, but I do think he might have missed it...
Out! Keegan Petersen edges behind!
He reviews it straight away.
Keegan Petersen drives James Anderson nicely down the ground for a couple of runs.

Before play started this morning I thought South Africa's chances today rested firmly on how long their openers could stick it out. England have done exactly what they wanted to do, dislodged the gritty, adhesive openers. The ball is doing enough.
South Africa are still a mammoth 225 runs behind England...
Aiden Markram has come out to join Keegan Petersen.

England will be delighted with the wicket there! Robinson angled one in and then shapes one away, Erwee had to play at a ball he didn't need to and it's a very thin edge. Outstanding bowling - England have been excellent.
Erwee c Foakes b Robinson 25 (SA 39-2)
Edged and gone!
Lovely from Ollie Robinson, getting a bit of movement away from Sarel Erwee, who is tempted into a little poke outside off stump. The outside edge is gratefully snaffled up by Ben Foakes, and England have got rid of both South Africa openers inside the first 40 minutes.
We're having a debate - are there any other athletes out there who are as at the top of their game as James Anderson is at the age of 40?
Obviously Tiger Woods completed a stunning Masters at 44 years old, but I can't think of many who are as good, as athletic, as fit and as consistent as Anderson is at an age where most sport stars are retired.
Tom Brady, maybe? Let us know - #bbccricket or text 81111 (UK standard message rates apply).
Keegan Petersen is drawn into a false shot against Jimmy Anderson, and an inside edge just about avoids the stumps.

Anderson is clearly the G.O.A.T.

Another outside edge from Sarel Erwee but this time it's along the ground, and Jonny Bairstow does the tidying up on the boundary edge.
