Billings adds a second boundary of the over, opening the face of the bat and guiding the ball past gully. Lovely shot.
That break in play doesn't seem to have done anything to affect the rhythm of this England pair. If anything it has helped Billings.

Sam Billings has been very measured. Anything that's drifted off line, he's taken runs from. But it will be a tough challenge for him when Bumrah corrects himself.
The boundaries keep coming. A poor ball to start from Jasprit Bumrah, it's heading down leg and Sam Billings helps it on its way to the fine leg boundary.

Tom Holmes: Last year I dreaded checking cricket updates on BBC. Stokes has changed that mindset completely & yet we complain. Can we stop saying "at one point we need to start playing proper Test cricket" like we've not been trying & failing to do that since Cook was captain.

Ben Wire: Don't agree. Stokes is trying to change the narrative, not play to India's game plan. To do that he needed to be bold. Bairstow was dropped by New Zealand and has had some near misses; we need a long run if tests to see whether that strategy is bold or reckless.
