Northeast c Paterson b Pattinson 23 (Notts 302 & 242 v Glamorgan 379 & 96-3)
How Notts needed that.
Sam Northeast tries to pull the first ball of a new James Pattinson over, but a top edge flies to long leg where Dane Paterson clings onto the catch as he falls backwards.
Kiran Carlson is the new batsman and is immediately under way by flicking the ball fine for four.
Notts 302 & 242 v Glamorgan 379 & 91-2
Marnus Labuschagne is down the track at the start of a new Liam Patterson-White and lofts him superbly for a straight six.
Two balls later, it's Sam Northeast's turn as he rocks onto the back foot and finds the cover boundary.
Only 74 more needed now for what would be a tremendous Glamorgan victory.
Durham 428 & 239-2 dec v Leics 273 & 89-1
Half an hour gone in the afternoon session at Chester-le-Street, but no sign of Durham making further inroads.
Leicestershire have moved on to 89-1, with Sam Evans 39 not out and George Rhodes 18.
Liam Trevaskis is back on now, with Durham hoping he can repeat his pre-lunch trick of taking a wicket... or several.
Kent 260 & 184-7 v Lancashire 506
What we omitted to mention earlier was that Lancashire now have a new ball at Canterbury, but it hasn't made any difference - yet.
Hamidullah Qadri hits two successive fours through the covers off George Balderson - one off the front foot and one off the back - as he and Ben Compton post a century partnership.
Qadri is 63 not out, Compton has 57 and Kent are now only 62 behind.
Kent's previous eighth-wicket record stand against Lancashire was 92 by Darren Stevens and Matt Coles at Old Trafford in 2010
Glos 227 & 359 v Yorks 376
James Bracey's magnificent innings finally comes to an end after he clearly decided there was no point in hanging around!
He launches an extraordinary assault on Haris Rauf, hammering a four and two sixes in the same over - all precious runs to lift the home side's lead above 200.
The left-hander went on to his highest first-class score of 177 before holing out off Steven Patterson.
It all means Yorkshire will need 211 to win, with 60 overs in which to get them...
As if there wasn't enough going on for Kent followers today....big news indeed.
Former England and Kent batter Rob Key is named managing director of England men's cricket.

Just a single for Sam Northeast in James Pattinson's latest over, but Glamorgan's target is now down to double figures. Northeast is 13 not out and Marnus Labuschagne is on 12.
Kent 260 & 170-7 v Lancashire 506
Well batted, Hamidullah Qadri, who runs George Balderson down to third man for four to reach the first half0-century of his career off 121 balls.
His previous highest score was 30 and in tandem with Ben Compton, who is also 53 not out, he has added 88 and they have given Kent a fighting chance of escaping with a draw.
They are still 76 behind - and Lancashire still need three wickets.
Shaw c Duke b Rauf 11 (Glos 335-9 v Yorks)
Ninth wicket falls in the third over after lunch as Haris Rauf gets the ball to leave Josh Shaw's outside edge and Harry Duke collects safely.
Gloucestershire lead by 186, with last man Ajeet Singh-Dale striding to the wicket to join James Bracey...
Derbyshire 505-8 dec v Sussex 174 & 361-2
When you're 97 not out, a leg-stump half-volley is exactly the type of delivery you want to receive and Cheteshwar Pujara whips Matty Potts away to bring up the 51st first-class century of his career from 237 balls.
It was the 14th boundary of a high-class innings and with Tom Haines on 203 at the other end, there could be plenty more to come.

Earlier on, we asked you to suggest county players you think might be worth an England Test call. Here are some early responses.
From Simon Goodall: "Impressed with opener Ben Compton for Kent. 2 centuries on the trot, and carried his bat in the first innings v Lancs. Gritty and determined. Maybe worth a punt? #bbccricket, external"
From Dan Fairway: "Tom Haines certainly looking assured at the crease and a potential England batter, but keep an eye on his opening partner Ali Orr too #bbccricket, external"

Lancashire captain Dane Vilas has tried just about everything he could this morning, but he can't seem to find a way of dismissing Ben Compton.
He's been on the field for every ball of this match so far, and he could become the first Kent player to carry his bat in both innings.
His heroic efforts have helped reduce the deficit between the two sides to double figures. We have 62 overs remaining, if he sees those out it will be the stuff of Kent folklore.

Tom Haines was the leading run scorer in last season's County Championship and has started this campaign where he left off
His first double hundred has been a feat of endurance spanning four sessions, and also made under pressure after Sussex followed on 331 runs behind
Cheteshwar Pujara - on 97 not out at lunch - has more than played his part in a partnership that has added an unbroken 212, and unless something unforeseen and dramatic happens this game is heading for draw
Durham 428 & 239-2 v Leics 273 & 71-1
Martin Emmerson
BBC Radio Newcastle commentator
Durham declared this morning - they should have done it last night - giving themselves 96 overs to try and bowl Leicestershire out, but there was little to cheer about until five minutes before lunch.
Hassan Azad, who'd put on 66 with Sam Evans for the opening wicket, was bowled through his legs by left-arm spinner Liam Trevaskis as he tried to pull him through the leg side.
Taking another nine wickets is going to be tough, though. as It's a benign track.
Leicestershire were set an improbable 395 to win. That won't happen but they have 68 overs to try and see off, unless they either collapse or shake hands on a draw in the final hour.
Lloyd b Paterson 23 (Notts 302 & 242 v Glamorgan 379 & 52-2)
A disappointing end to the morning for Glamorgan as Dane Paterson bowls David Lloyd, who shoulders arms to the final ball before lunch.
The home side only managed to add 18 to their overnight 224-8, leaving Glamorgan a victory target of 166.
They have made a reasonable start and despite the setback of losing their captain, the reassuring presence of Marnus Labuschagne - who is eight not out - will still be there when play resumes. They need another 114 to win.
Glos 227 & 333-8 v Yorks 376
All outcomes are still possible with two sessions remaining - but James Bracey holds the key.
Bracey remains unbeaten on 153, having added 104 for the seventh wicket with Zafar Gohar.
Josh Shaw is at the other end on 11 not out, with Gloucestershire now leading by 184 and two wickets standing.

Azad b Trevaskis 25 (Leics 66-1 v Durham)
Durham have turned to the left-arm spin of Liam Trevaskis - and he does the trick as we approach lunch.
Hassan Azad is the man to go, getting a bottom edge that trickles between his legs and onto the stumps.
Nine more needed for Durham...
