Will Rhodes draws level with Sam Hain on 58 as he finds the mid-wicket boundary from a Joe Root full toss.

The new ball is now due, with Warwickshire 59 behind. Jordan Thompson will take it.

    Middlesex 422 v Durham 350 & 123-6

Durham's lead is over 50 now but the runs certainly aren't flowing freely after lunch.

Since Matthew Salisbury hit a four in the first over after the interval his side have only added three runs in as many overs.

Salisbury was sent in as a nightwatchman yesterday but has stayed put through the final day and is only five runs away from a half-century.

Yorkshire are using Joe Root and Dom Bess in tandem to hasten them to the new ball.

Root delivers an awful attempt at a leg-break which pitches half-way down the track and Will Rhodes finds the mid-wicket boundary to reach his half-century from 184 balls.

It might not be the most entertaining of knocks but he's doing a great job for his side, who need 69 more to make Yorkshire bat again.

Durham under pressure as they begin the afternoon session at Lord's

Liam Trevaskis sees out the remainder of Ethan Bamber's over left incomplete by Ned Eckersley's dismissal before lunch.

Nightwatchman Matt Salisbury, still there, on 41, will face Toby Roland-Jones.

    Northants 430 v Kent 519-9 dec & 9-0

Kent opener Ben Compton needs 190 in this innings to reach 1,000 runs for the season - which would make him the first to do so before the end of May since Graeme Hick.

Given there are only a possible 62 overs left in the game, that seems a very remote possibility.

    Northants 430 v Kent 519-9 dec & 6-0

Play is under way again at Wantage Road and Zak Crawley clips a no-ball from Ben Sanderson through mid-on for four to launch Kent's second innings.

Harry Gouldstone is keeping wicket for Northants, who do not want to risk further damage to the finger Lewis McManus hurt earlier in the game.

Ben Slater hits a couple of fours and it's game over.

A more than comfortable victory in the end for Notts who win with the minimum of fuss.

Haseeb Hameed didn't quite get his century - finishing unbeaten on 93 - and Slater finished on 64.

It had the prospect of being an interesting contest at the start of the day but Derbyshire couldn't find any early wickets and Notts eased home with room to spare.

    Middlesex 422 v Durham 350 & 116-6 - lunch

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Toby Roland-Jones has taken the 22nd five-for of his career and has put Middlesex firmly in the box seat on the final day at Lord's. After a wicketless morning he was brought back into the attack just before lunch and took two wickets in three balls.

Durham skipper Scott Borthwick tried to pull the first ball through the leg side from outside off stump and lost his middle stump in the process. He was on 60 at the time but it was a rash shot in the circumstances.

He'd also put on 93 for the fourth wicket with Matt Salisbury. The nightwatchman has faced 103 balls and has a joint highest score in FC cricket of 41. He will return to the crease after lunch.

Until Borthwick's dismissal it didn't look like Middlesex would take a wicket in the morning session. But two balls later England skipper Ben Stokes was out for a duck, edging Roland-Jones to Sam Robson at second slip. And then Ned Eckersley went for two in the over before the break.

Middlesex now have victory in their sights unless someone in the Durham tail can put together a solid stand in the afternoon session.

    Yorkshire 449 v Warwickshire 244 & 128-3 - lunch

    Clive Eakin
    BBC CWR Sport

There's not been much to encourage the Yorkshire bowlers as they try to secure a second win of the season.

Sam Hain, on 52, and Will Rhodes, 47 not out, have looked largely untroubled. Their only real scare was the shot which brought up Hain's half century, an inside edge off Dom Bess which gave wicketkeeper Harry Duke a chance he couldn't take.

It has felt like a struggle for the county champions for much of the early part of this season. But their resilience has seen them deny opponents victories.

If they can do that here they'll have only lost one of their opening six games. Yorkshire's hopes rest with the new ball, due seven overs after lunch,

Ben Slater claims a half-century to go with the one from his fellow opener Haseeb Hameed (89*).

These two have made it look easy as Notts close in on victory.

They only need 16 runs - Hameed will want a century.

A useful work out for the New Zealand bowlers this morning in glorious weather at Hove

Jacob Duffy has been the pick of the tourists' attack, claiming the wickets of Tom Alsop and Tom Clark, who were dismissed without scoring.

Alistair Orr has batted throughout the morning, hitting Ajaz Patel for three big sixes, and Tom Haines made an accomplished 41 before playing a loose shot to be caught at first slip.

Sussex are 96-3 at lunch, replying to New Zealand's 342-3 declared.

But all that changed in the last few overs before lunch as Toby Roland-Jones removed Borthwick before dismissing Ben Stokes second ball.

Ethan Bamber then claimed the wicket of Ned Eckersley to leave Durham 44 ahead with four wickets in hand.
