Tom Bailey bowls Dom Sibley with an absolute jaffa.

The ball nips back in to clip the top of off stump.

No calling which way this game is going to go.

    Glamorgan 297-1 v Sussex 376

Colin Ingram and Ed Byrom now have the highest second-wicket partnership in Glamorgan's history, surpassing the 291 put on by Nick Selman and Marnus Labuschagne, also against Sussex, in 2019.

Ingram has 167 and opener Byrom 122 in their stand of 292. And they're not done yet.

  4. Postpublished at 11:37 British Summer Time 14 June 2022

    Somerset 180 & 25-1 v Surrey 382

They may have lost a wicket already, but Somerset have begun their second innings at a good pace, scoring at five an over so far.

Tom Lammonby has just steered Dan Worrall to the third man boundary twice, while Tom Abell is yet to get off the mark.

  5. 50 runs

for Haynespublished at 11:27 British Summer Time 14 June 2022

    Durham 642-7 dec v Worcestershire 154-4

Jack Haynes has reached his fourth fifty of the County Championship season and his second against Durham.

And on a batsmen friendly track it's worth remembering in all of the other games where he's reached 50 this year the 21-year-old has gone on to score 100!

He made 120* in the second innings against Durham at New Road in May. He's also scored 133 v Derbyshire and 127 v Leicestershire.

Worcestershire are 154-4 but have lost night-watchman Charlie Morris this morning. He edged a ball from Ben Raine to Scott Borthwick at second slip. Borthwick snatched the ball just before it hit the deck.

It's a grey morning in Chester-le-Street and cool. And the ball is nipping about on occasion. Something we have not seen too much of in this game so far. Raine has taken 3-32 in 11 overs.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:25 British Summer Time 14 June 2022

    Green c Patel b Worrall 8 (Somerset 180 & 16-1 v Surrey 382)

Three wickets in double-quick time at Taunton this morning!

The latest dismissal is the first of Somerset's second innings, with Dan Worrall finding the outside edge of Ben Green's bat and Ryan Patel tumbles at third slip to take a smart catch.

Tom Abell comes to the crease and boy, do Somerset need a captain's innings from him, still trailing the visitors by 186.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:24 British Summer Time 14 June 2022

    Dawson c Lyth b Bess 61 (Hants 229-5 v Yorkshire 428)

Dom Bess finally breaks this fifth-wicket stand of 118!

Liam Dawson tries to drive the spinner but gets an edge and Adam Lyth holds on at slip.

Yorkshire's bowlers have been on top this morning and they've been rewarded with a wicket.

  8. Postpublished at 11:17 British Summer Time 14 June 2022

    Kent 234-3 v Gloucestershire 438

Not a great deal happening at Canterbury so far this morning, where the division's bottom sides look on course for a draw as it stands.

Just two runs added to the Kent total in four overs, with Jack Leaning on 26 and Jordan Cox 21. Another 55 runs will ensure Gloucestershire can't ask the home side to follow on.

  9. Postpublished at 11:17 British Summer Time 14 June 2022

    Warwickshire 292 & 0-0 v Lancashire 286

Dom Sibley and Alex Davies will get Warwickshire's second innings going.

What sort of lead will the Bears want? 250? 300?

  10. Five-wicket haulpublished at 11:09 British Summer Time 14 June 2022

    Warwickshire 292 v Lancashire 286

Warwickshire paceman Liam Norwell gets Matt Parkinson caught behind to finish with 5-78 on his return from injury.

The Bears get a six-run first-innings lead and we're going to have a one innings shootout at Edgbaston.

    Worrall c Davies by Gregory 0 (Somerset 180 v Surrey 382)

Well, there we are - just three balls later Lewis Gregory picks up his second wicket and finishes off the Surrey innings.

Dan Worrall goes the same way as Atkinson, caught behind to leave Jordan Clark high and dry on 63 not out.

That answers the question about whether Hashim Amla would resume his innings after falling unwell the night before last - he hasn't and that means Surrey are all out with a lead of 202.

  12. Postpublished at 11:05 British Summer Time 14 June 2022

    Hants 226-4 v Yorkshire 428

Liam Dawson and Ben Brown resume for Hampshire after yesterday's fine fightback.

    Their stand is worth 115.

Yorkshire will be hunting early wickets with the new ball due in 10 overs.

  13. Postpublished at 11:03 British Summer Time 14 June 2022

    Warwickshire 292 v Lancashire 286-9

Lancashire debutant Will Williams starts day three by clipping Oliver Hannon-Dalby off his legs for a lovely boundary!

The deficit is just six runs. Can they sneak into a lead?

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:02 British Summer Time 14 June 2022

    Atkinson c Davies b Gregory 2 (Somerset 180 v Surrey 382-8)

Second ball of the day and that's the ideal start for Somerset as Lewis Gregory picks up a wicket!

Gus Atkinson departs without adding to the overnight score, fishing outside off stump and giving Steve Davies his fourth catch of the innings.
