    Glamorgan 318 & 409-5 v Notts 285

Sam Northeast turns Luke Fletcher round the corner for one and there's his hundred. It's taken 133 balls and included two sixes and eight fours. Fine effort indeed.

Partner Billy Root, on 53, departs in the same over, top edging some sort of cross-bat swipe and it's an easy catch for keeper Joe Clarke.

    Yorks 521 v Surrey 509-9

Can Surrey surpass Yorkshire's first-innings total?

Ben Foakes brings up the 500 with a top-edge six over the keeper and there are two fours by Dan Worrall off Dom Bess to follow.

    Glamorgan 318 and 401-4 v Notts 285

Billy Root paddles a single from a slower ball by Luke Fletcher to reach an 83-ball half-century. Glamorgan are certainly intent on batting Notts right out of this game.

    Du Plooy c Mackintosh b Rushworth 134 (Durham 296 v Derbys 283 & 284-5)

Leus du Plooy nibbles at one just outside off stump and Chris Rushworth has his 11th wicket of the game.

Du Plooy batted for 270 minutes, faced 206 balls and hit 15 fours, putting on 248 with Brooke Guest.

Following his 134 in the first innings, we reckon that's a pretty good effort for his side in this game. Derbyshire lead by 271.

Milestones aplenty at Southport in the last few minutes.

First Lancs go past 500, before Keaton Jennings moves past his previous highest first-class score, and then brings up his 250 with a four through midwicket.

How's this for a fact. This is just the second time that Lancashire's top-three have all passed 90 in the same first-class innings.

The first was in May 1928 against Northants, when Frank Watson, Charlie Hallows and Ernest Tyldesley all made hundreds.

Northeast is 76 not out but a declaration total must now be on the mind of skipper David Lloyd.

    Lawes st Tattersall b Bess 13 (Yorks 521 v Surrey 467-8)

What a match Jonny Tattersall is having - an unbeaten 180 and now two stumpings to go with a catch in the Surrey innings.

Tom Lawes is beaten in the flight by Dom Bess and he tries to venture down the pitch and it's an easy one for Tattersall to complete the dismissal.

Poor delivery from Dom Bess and Ben Foakes has plenty of time to adjust his feet before flicking it away for four.

Foakes is now 60 not out and England will be glad to see him in the runs after having to miss the recent Test against India.

  16. Derbyshire duo reach hundredspublished at 16:37 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

    Durham 296 v Derbyshire 283 & Derbyshire 251-4

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

For the second Championship match in a row two batsmen have reached their centuries in the same over at the Riverside.

Today Leus Du Plooy and Brooke Guest got there in successive deliveries. It was Du Plooy's second hundred of the game and Guest's third this season.

In the match against Worcestershire a few weeks ago, Paul Coughlin and Ben Raine reached their first centuries in the same over, while in the Worcestershire innings Brett D'Oliveira and Ed Barnard did it an over apart.

Today's partnership is a record fifth-wicket stand for Derbyshire against Durham and is now 216 runs. They were 36-4 this morning, but as has happened so many times this season, Durham's bowlers have lost their way in the afternoon session.
