Two centuries in the match for Leus du Plooy, who reached his second off 160 balls with a single to leg from the bowling of Scott Borthwick.

One ball later and Brooke Guest achieves three figures off 215 deliveries in similar style - his third hundred of the season in the Championship.

Their stand is now worth 199 and Derbyshire lead by 222.

    Overton c Thompson b Gabriel 32 (Yorks 521 v Surrey 432-7)

    Breaking

    Middlesex 188 & 240 v Worcestershire 191 & 238-3

Brett D'Oliveira hits the winning run as Worcestershire secure their third Division Two victory of the season with four sessions to spare.

He finishes with 33 not out and Taylor Cornall 31 - but it was Ed Pollock's brilliant 67-ball century that saw them make light of their run-chase.

Pollock was eventually caught on the boundary for for 113 off 77, but Worcestershire take 19 points and Middlesex three.

  8. Tea at Ageas Bowlpublished at 16:02 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

    Hants 370-9 dec v Warwicks 217 & 150-6

Michael Burgess flicks Ian Holland away fine for four as Warwickshire move to within three runs of clearing the deficit in the final over before tea.

Burgess is 30 not out, having made a duck in the first innings, with Nathan McAndrew on five.

Hampshire took four wickets during the session - two each for Liam Dawson and Mohammad Abbas.

  9. Tea at Southportpublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

    Lancs 447-2 v Somerset 446

A single from Keaton Jennings takes him to 215, and moves Lancashire into the lead.

It is also the last action of the afternoon session.

Can the hosts force a result in the four sessions that remain?

  10. Postpublished at 15:59 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

    Worcs 231-3 - target 238

I don't think they're going to bother with tea at Merchant Taylors' School, at least until the game is over.

Sam Robson continues and Taylor Cornall edges past slip for four to leave Worcestershire just seven short of the finish line.

  11. Postpublished at 15:55 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

    Kent 335 v Northants 303 & 125-3

This is a vital partnership for Northants in the context of this game - both Ryan Rickelton and Jimmy Neesham are batting nicely.

Rickelton is 33 from 82, and Neesham is 35 from 35. The lead is currently 93 as we approach tea.

    Sussex 588-9 v Leicestershire 388-4

    Adrian Harms
    BBC Sussex

    Wiaan MulderImage source, Rex Features

A very good session for the visitors, who have added 140 for the loss of Lewis Hill

Colin Ackermann, who should have been run out when he was on 72, is now 88 and has added 111 for the fifth wicket with Wiaan Mulder, whose 67 has come off 98 balls.

Steve Finn has been by far the pick of the Sussex bowlers taking 3-65, but the wicket is showing no sign of deterioration and with Leicestershire cantering towards avoiding the follow-on, this game looks destined for a draw

  13. Record partnership for Derbyshirepublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

    Durham 296 v Derbyshire 283 & 211-4

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

For the second time in this match Leus Du Plooy has been involved in a record stand for Derbyshire against Durham.

He has 86 runs in their second innings and Brooke Guest has 91. Their stand for the fifth wicket is now 175 from 315 balls. The previous record for the fifth wicket had been 148.

In the first innings Du Plooy made 122 not out and put on 166 for the sixth wicket with Anuj Dal, who made 90.

Each day has followed a similar pattern. Wickets in the morning. Doldrums in the afternoon and wickets in the evening. But it's really slow going at the moment and rather stupefying to say the least.

  14. Postpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

    Worcs 208-3 - target 238

Sam Robson is bowling now for Middlesex - an indication that they think the game is almost up?

Brett D'Oliveira paddles a full toss for four and repeats the shot from one which pitches half-way down the track as the Worcestershire score moves beyond 200.

  15. Tea at Scarboroughpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

    Yorkshire 521 v Surrey 410-6

Ben Foakes plays out a maiden from Dom Bess and goes in to tea with four runs needed for his 50.

Surrey have added 129 during the after noon for the loss of three wickets, including Rory Burns, who was bowled by Shannon Gabriel with the new ball for 132.

Foakes added 75 with Aaron Hardie, who was dismissed by Steven Patterson for 46.

  16. 200 runs

for Keaton Jenningspublished at 15:42 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

    Lancs 422-2 v Somerset 446

The Southport crowd stands to Keaton Jennings, as he turns Amir Virdi into the leg-side for a single to bring up his second double century of the summer.

It's been completely chanceless - a great knock.

  17. Maximum batting points for Surreypublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

    Yorks 521 v Surrey 410-6

Ben Foakes forced George Hill away for four as Surrey reach 400 with two and a bit overs to spare, then collects another boundary through mid-wicket to move to 46 not out. Jamie Overton is on 15.

WICKETpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

    Haynes c Stoneman b Roland-Jones 18 (Worcs 193-3 - target 238)

Another Worcestershire wicket falls at Merchant Taylors' School but it's going to take some very special bowling from Middlesex to deny them victory from this position.

Jack Haynes pulls a short ball from Toby Roland-Jones but Mark Stoneman barely has to move to take the catch at deep mid-wicket.

Skipper Brett D'Oliveira is the new batter.

  19. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

    Worcs 188-2 - target 238

Jack Haynes forces Tom Helm away twice off the back foot for four in the same over. Both he and Taylor Cornall are 16 not out and only 50 more are needed by Worcestershire for their third win of the season.

  20. Division Two round-uppublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 13 July 2022

The stand between Brooke Guest and Leus du Plooy is now worth 171, with Derbyshire 194-4 against Durham - a lead of 182 - with Guest 87 and du Plooy on 74.

Notts have picked up another wicket in Cardiff, with Kiran Carlson departing for two, but Glamorgan are 287-4, a lead of 320.

Colin Ackermann (78) and Wiaan Mulder (48) have put on 80 so far for Leicestershire, who are 359-4 against Sussex - 229 behind.
