Gloucestershire have built slowly but surely on their first innings lead of 95, as they look to set up a declaration which would give them enough time to bowl Somerset out for a second time.

Their only casualty so far has been first innings centurion Marcus Harris, who lost his off stump to a peach of a delivery from Josh Davey.

Ten minutes were lost at the start, but so far the threatened heavy showers have failed to materialize - a state of meteorological affairs that Gloucestershire, more than Somerset, will be hoping continues to prevail.

Yorkshire are clinging on at Old Trafford in the hope of making it through to lunch. The latest over is a maiden from Tom Bailey to Ben Coad. He is 10 not out and Steven Patterson has two.
