    The spinner over-compensates, pulling the next one down short and Hill forces it away to the boundary at point.

    He is 34 not out and Adam Lyth has 30.

    One run for Saif Zaib in the latest over from Sajid Khan and that is it for the day at the Cooper Associates County Ground.

    Will Young made 85 at the top of the order but his Northants side still have work to do to make sure of avoiding the follow-on, trailing by 205 overnight.

    Craig Overton has been the pick of the Somerset attack with 4-25. Zaib is 27 not out, with Tom Taylor on 19.

    Glamorgan 550-5 dec v Derbys 135-5

    Anuj Dal and Harry Came are battling hard to save this game after a mammoth Glamorgan first innings.

    Ajaz Patel will bowl. He dismissed Brooke Guest and Wayne Madsen with successive balls this afternoon.

    Harry Came runs a bye off the fourth ball and an appeal for LBW against Dal is turned down by Umpire Blackwell.

    The final ball is bowled round the wicket and whipped through leg for two.

    Derbyshire trail by 415 but have shown some fighting spirit with this partnership, which has ground out 60 runs in 28.5 overs.

    The game is drifting a bit at the moment, so Surrey decide to try something different and hand the ball to Cameron Steel.

    He totally deceived Ben Mike in Yorkshire's first innings, bowling him with a perfect googly.

    The scoring has slowed somewhat at Bristol. Hardly surprising given the end of day two is in sight and Warwickshire are five down in just 12 overs.

    Davies has stood tall on the burning deck with 39 of those runs.

    He pulls a short ball from Tom Price for two to deep square leg.

    A huge appeal for LBW is turned down as Davies shuffles across his stumps and defends. Possibly going down leg. One more tonight.

    Following an interruption for Bad light, Durham are now 426-6 against Sussex, a lead of 264.

    Chris Benjamin is 64 not out and partner Paul Coughlin has 17.

    Derbyshire have arrested their slump to some extend in Cardiff and are 121-5, with Anuj Dal on 30.

    Glamorgan earlier declared their first innings on 550-5, with David Lloyd unbeaten on 313.
