A single for Dent off the last ball and Jayant Yadav will try to spin out a breakthrough at the other end.

  14. Postpublished at 12:21 British Summer Time 22 September 2022

    Glamorgan 550-5 dec v Derbys 204-5

Shot! Harry Came plays his best shot of the innings as he drives Michael Hogan through extra cover for a rare boundary.

Rare for this innings at any rate.

If Derbyshire can bat on into the final session of play today they just might save this game.

Glamorgan stick with three slips for now.

Hogan gets a ball to jag back sharply off the seam and that's missed the stumps by a coat of varnish.

But the job is nowhere near done - Hampshire need 184 more runs.

Sidebottom edges Tom Price just past leg stump.

He somehow survives and takes a single to keep the strike.

Zafar beats the number 11 with his second ball and the third ball is tossed up and driven for one.

The fourth ball turns sharply and bounces off the pads for four runs.

Four more runs swept through the on side by Hannon-Dalby.

    Somerset 389 v Northants 265

Craig Overton returns for a new spell and his second delivery ends the Northants first innings as Jack White is caught behind by James Rew as he backs away and tries a very optimistic drive.

Tom Taylor is left 60 not out and the visitors concede a first-innings deficit of 124.

The onus is now on Somerset's batters to press on and try to set up a declaration.

  20. new ball

    Glamorgan 550-5 dec v Derbys 200-5

Glamorgan's search for a sixth wicket continues with spinners Ajaz Patel and Thomas Bevan.

The run rate dries to a trickle - and now James Harris comes into the attack armed with the new ball.

His second ball is driven smartly through the covers by Dal for four.

That's a batting bonus point for the visitors.
