Warwickshire are struggling to get the scoreboard moving - plus they've lost the early wicket of Bethell this morning.

A hint of in-swing as the ball beats the drive and rips out middle stump.

    Hampshire 57 & 119-6 v Kent 165 & 269

    Nathan Gilchrist strikes again!

Ben Brown goes for a six-ball duck as he tamely chips Gilchrist to Joey Evison at midwicket for the simplest of catches.

Gilchrist has 3-31 as his two wickets this morning have put Hampshire in a heap of trouble.

The target of 378 is a massive 259 runs away.

Toby Roland-Jones finishes with 4-70, another fine effort from the evergreen Middlesex seamer. That is now 59 Championship wickets for him this summer.

    Durham 459-7 dec v Sussex 162 & 9-4

The morning forecast suggested Chester-le-Street was always likely to see an interruption and Sussex won't mind that one bit.

They trail by 288 - with Tom Haines three not out and James Coles on two, having already lost Dan Ibrahim without adding to their overnight 6-3.

WICKET Weatherley lbw b Gilchrist 56published at 10:51 British Summer Time 22 September 2022

    Hampshire 57 & 115-5 v Kent 165 & 269

That is an absolute beauty from Nathan Gilchrist!

A full in-swinging yorker catches Joe Weatherley pad first and the finger goes up. Kent are now halfway towards a huge victory.

Weatherley trudges off ever so slowly - he batted well last night but had only added two to his score this morning.

    Hampshire 57 & 115-4 v Kent 165 & 269

There are few more glorious sights in county cricket than James Vince's cover driving and here he unfurls one of his best, dissecting two cover fielders on the way to the boundary.

Two lovely fours already this morning, but more than enough to keep the Kent bowlers interested.

    Worcs 390 v Notts 128 & 142-8 - trail by 120

It's a testing maiden which Will Fraine just about survives. His best score this season is 53 and Yorkshire need quite a few more than that from him today.
