Gilchrist has 3-31 as his two wickets this morning have put Hampshire in a heap of trouble.
The target of 378 is a massive 259 runs away.

Ed Barnes falls within four of a half century and within three of Middlesex's score as Leicestershire's innings ends.
He tries to reach his 50 with a hook shot but only succeeds in getting a thin edge behind to John Simpson.
Toby Roland-Jones finishes with 4-70, another fine effort from the evergreen Middlesex seamer. That is now 59 Championship wickets for him this summer.
Somerset 389 v Northants 206-7
Northants pick up their first batting point as Tom Taylor uppercuts Craig Overton to the point boundary.
He ends the over with another four, punching a half volley back past the stumps to mid-on and is now 31 not out.
Worcs 390 v Notts 128 & 148-8 - trail by 114
Jake Ball drives Ben Gibbon and is off the mark with a thick outside edge as the ball flies through backward point for four runs.
This game could end in a hurry.

The morning forecast suggested Chester-le-Street was always likely to see an interruption and Sussex won't mind that one bit.
They trail by 288 - with Tom Haines three not out and James Coles on two, having already lost Dan Ibrahim without adding to their overnight 6-3.
