It's the extra pace from Nortje that got Haris out but he has had a good innings, just what Pakistan needed.

Haris lbw b Nortje 28 (Pak 38-2)
Crashing into middle stump!
The perfect response from Nortje having been hit for six the ball before, going full and fast and straight.
An entertaining cameo from Haris, who looks disappointed with himself.
Nortje responds!
Haris is given out lbw on the field, but opts for a review. Why not, he's batting so nicely.
Oh, hello!
Mohammad Haris ramps a 90mph delivery from Anrich Nortje over his shoulder for six!
What a remarkable shot that is.
Babar is just trying to force it too much, trying to hit the ball too hard.
He'll do well to get through this, but the fact he's still there will give Pakistan confidence.

It's good for Babar Azam to have someone like Haris at the other end.
Babar isn't a fast starter so it will take the pressure off him to have someone fearless at the other end.
Haris is timing the ball beautifully but it's a completely different story for Babar Azam.
He's poking and prodding all over the place.

He might be young but he's very smart. He stepped away and made some room to hit it at deep square.
A single from the final ball from a firm pull shot, and Haris has raced on to 21 from just seven balls!
Wayne Parnell pulls things back for South Africa, starting the over with three dot balls, before Mohammad Haris upper cuts him over slip for four more.

The loss of the early wicket doesn't seem to matter much.

Yep. It's lively.
And a crunching pull shot for four!
The knock on the helmet clearly fired him up. Brilliant over for Haris and Pakistan.
Two in two!
Kagiso Rabada was unhappy with the first six, so offers Haris a short one.
But the batter just helps it on its way for the same result! The crowd are enjoying this.
Oh, here we go!
An effortless flick from Mohammad Haris sails all the way into the stands for six. Perfect timing!
And here is one of those quicker bowlers. Kagiso Rabada with the second over.

It wasn't a bouncer, just a hard back of a length. You've still got the quicker bowlers to come!
Mohammad Haris is greeted by a short ball from Wayne Parnell and is hit firmly on the helmet.
He's fine, gives Parnell a thumbs up when the bowler checks on him - but is going through the mandatory concussion check.
A real nasty blow, that.

An early wicket for Parnell and it could be a sign of the slowness of this wicket.
Rizwan b Parnell 4 (Pak 4-1)
Ah. Four and out!
Parnell responds, pitching the ball up fuller and Rizwan gets a bottom edge on to his stumps. He looks to the sky in frustration.
The perfect start for South Africa.
