Shaheen Shah Afridi will bowl the next over.

Four more.
Heinrich Klaassen gets down early and reverse sweeps over point and away to the boundary.
That is 14 from the first over after the resumption.
Need 66 from 28 balls
Shottt!
Tristan Stubbs gets down on one knee and drives over the covers for six.
It lands straight on the boundary sponge. Ridiculous shot.
Right, we've got cricket again.
Shadab Khan is going to bowl.
South Africa have no option but to play shots from ball one here.
Buckle up.

Pakistan were on a roll when the rain came and they didn't look like they wanted to come off.

It's going to be a hard task for South Africa, losing four wickets really put them on the back foot.
We've lost six overs and South Africa's target has been reduced by 44 so 7.33 an over.
They need 73 off five overs so have to score at 14.6 an over.
Something doesn't quite add up to me there.
So, South Africa's new target is 142 off 14 overs.
That means they need 73 off 30 balls.
Erm... that's steep.

DLS simply does not work for T20 matches any more. The ability to score 15+ runs an over at the end of an innings means its not viable. The England v Ireland game was the prime example. Needs a full rethink.
Matt, Matlock
Four bowlers will be allowed to bowl three overs and one can bowl two overs.
Nobody has bowled three yet so Babar Azam will be able to use any of this bowlers.
Confirmation that we will start in just over five minutes time.
It'll be a 14-over game so South Africa will bat for five more overs.
We're still waiting to hear the target.
The Pakistan players are deep in conversation with the umpires.
It looks like they are communicating how many overs each bowler can bowl.
Hello!
All the sheets are off and the rope is being run round the square.
The stumps are back in the ground too.
We're still waiting for official confirmation of a resumption and the scenario, but it is looking positive.

Dil Dil Pakistan is an absolute tune by the way.
We're losing overs now.
While we wait, enjoy Shadab Khan's performance so far today.
He was brilliant with the bat - hitting Pakistan's second-fastest T20 half-century - before taking two wickets in his only over.

The rain never really left but is now heavy again. Back come the covers.
Time for a by of DJ Otzi and Hey Baby...
It is still raining but the rope is starting to be run round the outfield now too.
The smaller sheets covering the pitch remain in place, but they only take a couple of minutes to remove as and when.
We start losing overs at 11:12 GMT.
So at the moment we haven't lost any, but we're likely to lose some.
All the umpires are now outside, having a chat with the groundstaff.
A cheer goes up around the SCG as the groundstaff start to remove the sheets.
