Sri Lanka's fielding has been so poor, but he's held on there. Jos Buttler didn't quite get hold of it.

Buttler c Karunaratne b Hasaranga 28 (Eng 75-1)
Partnership broken and it's a worldie out on the boundary!
Jos Buttler tries to hit one over mid-wicket, looks like he's got a good connection on it but Chamika Karunaratne appears from out of nowhere to take a fine diving catch, skidding along the outfield, doing well to hang on when he hits the ground.
And as predicted, it's not Dawid Malan in at three. Ben Stokes is the man.

Target 142
Pretty clear plan from England to go for the seamers and see off the spinners.
A casual over from Maheesh Theekshana goes for just four.
England are cruising but they are a batter down. If you missed it earlier, Dawid Malan pulled up with a groin injury in the field, so it's unlikely he will come in at three.
And four more over mid-off to finish the over.
What was I saying about England easing me into my stint? A six, three fours and a review later... and breathe.
Huge over for England. 20 from it.
Ooooh! Interesting one. There is a spike as the ball passes the bat, but the bat definitely hits the ground at the same time.
With no conclusive evidence, the third umpire has to stay with the on-field decision but Sri Lanka aren't too happy.
Has Hales been caught behind?
Only the keeper likes it, nothing from the bowler. Has Hales hit the ground? He doesn't look fussed at all.
Oh, and follows it with consecutive fours.
Nice of England to ease me into my live texting stint without any drama...

It's all over. I'm calling it.
Target 142
Morning, everyone. How are we?
If you're just waking up from a Saturday morning lie-in, you'll be pleased to hear that England have started very nicely in their pursuit of 142.
And it gets even better as Alex Hales has just smashed Rajitha into the stands for a six.
Target 142
Hasaranga appears to attempt to stall England's pacy start. No such luck.
His first four balls are tight, but Buttler pounces on the bad ball to drive through the covers for four, and then dispatches the following ball for a maximum.
Here's Ffion Wynne to see you to close.

He never looked like catching that.
That's up in the sky from Jos Buttler!
Is there a fielder under it? Well... sort of. Rajapaksa scrambles back from mid-on but he doesn't make his ground. England run two.
A leg bye closes the over.
Target 142
Successive fours from Hales! Sri Lanka's pace bowlers are costing them here.
Hales lofts Kumara over his head, holding the pose as he watches the ball fly to the boundary.
He turns the following ball around the corner... and that's a big over-step from Kumara too.
The free-hit is saved at third-man - just a single from that one.
Some shots of Sri Lankan fans enjoying themselves in the stands - they'll still be hopeful that their bowlers can make hay on this well-used pitch.
We continue with pace at the Paddington End with Lahiru Kumara.
Theekshana sends one right over Buttler's middle stump! That was close...
Buttler gets him away two balls later, a lovely cricket shot right along the ground.

Alex Hales is eating Kasun Rajitha for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the moment.

Alex Hales didn't lose his shape when he played that. It wasn't quite Kohli-esque, but not far off.
Another middling ball from Rajitha, dispatched over the covers in the same manner from Hales.
The seamer gets a dot off the final delivery of a fairly sorry over.
