Target 161
Tristan Stubbs is the new batter. Now he really can bat - he smashed England around for South Africa earlier this summer and is a very exciting young talent.
It's unlikely, but it's not game over yet.
Fair play to London Spirit. They have been outstanding in the field today.

That's an outstanding piece of fielding.

The umpire doesn't even send that to the truck. The big gun has gone. What a throw it was.
Russell run out (Dawson) 5 (Originals 53-5)
Oh dear, oh dear.
It's a brilliant piece of work from Liam Dawson, but another shocker for the Originals as their star batter departs.
It's an easy single but Andre Russell was too occupied with watching the ball instead of getting his head down and running. It costs him his wicket as Dawson's pinpoint accuracy throws down the stumps and Originals' hopes continue to fade.

It didn't look like he hit it cleanly. It just shows the power.
It's not pretty, but it's four! Andre Russell swings hard and manages to get one to the leg side boundary, piercing the two fielders out there. Is that what he needed to get going?
Spirit's bowlers will be hoping not.

This is the game now. Manchester Originals will rely on Andre Russell providing something special here. He's more than capable of it.
Target 161
But if there's one man who could produce the magic to win from nowhere, it's the powerful West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell.
What can he produce for his team here? They need 113 from 47 balls.

Manchester Originals are in a world of trouble. Things are looking very bleak.
Walter c Wood b Thompson 3 (Originals 47-4)
Paul Walter cannot match his heroics with the ball as he slices a short, wide ball from Jordan Thompson straight to the fielder!
I think this is what you call "a spot of bother". But what a day Thompson is having - he has three wickets for just 12 runs.

Things are going to have to change quickly here for Originals.

This is not a position Phil Salt is used to being in. He has to just be patient and bide his time.
Target 161
Stunning start from Mason Crane, who bowls 10 balls in a row, takes a wicket and concedes just six runs.
The Originals are going nowhere. Who's going to provide the magic?

Good bowling from Mason Crane. He has really stifled Originals in the seven balls he's bowled from the Pavilion End.

Crawley barely had to move. Evans just didn't look comfortable out there.
Evans c Crawley b Crane 3 (Originals 44-3)
Mason Crane stays on to bowl 10 in a row... and it works!
Another jittery innings from an Originals batter comes to an end. He takes a big heave, but picks out Zak Crawley on the boundary who gratefully accepts the catch.

I am mildly surprised they didn't send the left handed Paul Walter in. It would have made Mason Crane's life a lot harder with a left hander in.
