Spirit will be a bit disappointed that they allowed them to get that many. They were going at less than a run a ball out of the Powerplay, then took a couple of wickets and they were probably thinking 120.

They will take 143 from were they were, they will need wickets from David Willey but that is definitely something for their spinners to bowl at. I think Wahab Riaz will be key, he will make the most of this dry surface.
It's not been without its risks but a couple of big shots from Georgia Adams and Freya Kemp have got Southern Brave moving again, they're 126-5 with 15 balls left in the innings.
Kemp has needed a bit of luck, she was dropped twice by Mady Villiers off her own bowling in the last set, although it should be said, both would have been great catches if she'd held on.
Despite a sizeable mid-innings slump, the Brave look on for a decent total.
Du Plessis 56, Hose 30*
Northern Superhcargers struggled from ball one but they will be boosted by the turn in the pitch esprcially with the likes of Adil Rashid in their ranks.
Without that captain's knock from Faf du Plessis and the late flourish from Hose, it would have been a very dry day from the Superchargers.

Adam Hose is providing the intent this innings needed. Two boundaries came off his bat in that set. If they can just push to 150 plus then they will feel they have the bowling attack to defend that.
It's difficult against the class of Ellis who nailed his yorkers and it's a final five to come from Thompson.

Hose came out with intent and has done well to find the gaps so far. He's 16 from five and dealing in boundaries.

The Superchargers will hope to get enough that they can bring Adil Rashid into the game.

A misfield from Bell-Drummond in front of the Western Terrace helps the ball over the boundary to double Hose's score.
The Oval Invincibles continue to make inroads with Southern Brave seemingly having lost all momentum.
Sophia Dunkley is the latest to go, plumb lbw to Eva Gray as she tried a lap sweep. With Maia Bouchier also gone, the Brave are now 106-5 after 75 balls.
Ever since the wicket of Smriti Mandhana, it has been all Invincibles. Can Freya Kemp and Georgia Adams get the Brave back on track?

It looked like a full toss at first, but it's actually a slower ball that has dipped late on Du Plessis.

You don't often see a drop like that from Eoin Morgan.
It's not something you hear often but Eoin Morgan has just dropped a catch. And it's the BIG one of Du Plessis. It was spiralling and coming over his shoulder but he would expect to take that every time.

And with that delightful ramp shot Du Plessis brings up a valuable half century. This has been a real captain's knock.
He then backs it up with another four to bring up the Superchargers' hundred. They're just motoring here with 20 balls to go.

Long hop goes a long long way smashed miles back into the crowd. Not a good delivery from Crane and you cannot bowl those half way down the track to someone of Du Plessis' class.
