That's the last thing you need if you're anybody involved with the Welsh Fire. A misfield and then for Malan to smash you over covers.
That won't help.
A terrible misfield by George Scrimshaw at short third gifts Dawid Malan a four with the opening ball of the match. The next delivery Malan slaps through the covers for four.
Ominous.
There are moody grey skies overhead at Trent Bridge but it is set to remain dry as the Welsh Fire players make their way onto the field. Can they finally get a win on the board?
They will need work their way through a formidable-looking Trent Rockets top order, with Alex Hales and Dawid Malan once again opening the batting. Just the 513 runs between them so far this tournament.
Fire will open with a bit of spin. Matt Critchley has the ball in his hand.
Today's match-up sees two powerful batters going head-to-head.
Trent Rockets opener Alex Hales is the fifth-highest run scorer in the competition so far with 213 runs in seven innings including two half-centuries.
Meanwhile, Ben Duckett has been a rare bright spot in what has been a largely miserable tournament for Welsh Fire.
He is the seventh-highest run scorer in the competition with 105 runs in seven innings, including a fine unbeaten 64 against Northern Superchargers on Friday. He has also scored over 100 runs more than any other team-mate, which is one of the many reasons why Fire have struggled.
If they are to finally get a win then Duckett will likely need to get another score here.
Trent Rockets: Alex Hales, Dawid Malan, Colin Munro, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Tom Moores, Lewis Gregory, Daniel Sams, Samit Patel, Luke Wood, Sam Cook, Tabraiz Shamsi.
Welsh Fire: Joe Clarke, Tom Banton, Ben Duckett, David Miller, Matt Critchley, Leus du Plooy, Josh Cobb, George Scrimshaw, Ish Sodhi, David Payne, Jake Ball.
Trent Rockets captain Lewis Gregory: "We would have had a bowl as well. But we have won both ways in this competition so hopefully we can go out there and put up a good score with the bat.
"This is why we play the game, big matches like this. We have played some really good cricket throughout the competition so far and hopefully we can put another big performance in tonight.
"We have had a little conversation [about their defeat to Southern Brave] but ultimately we have been playing good cricket. We should have got over the line but we have matchwinners in our team and hopefully we can perform tonight."
Welsh Fire captain Josh Cobb: "It is a small-ish ground and it looks a decent wicket - it could be tough to defend.
"We've got nothing to lose. It is a great opportunity for everyone. We've just got to be positive and finish on a high."
Welsh Fire skipper Josh Cobb calls correct and decides to have a bowl first.
This is how the table looks going into the final week.
The equation is simple for Trent Rockets. A win (or tie) against Welsh Fire this evening and they guarantee themselves a place in the top three. A big enough win and they will be in the driving seat for top spot and an automatic place in the final.
Defeat though and Manchester Originals, London Spirit, Oval Invincibles and Birmingham Phoenix could all potentially leapfrog them.
It is all to play for in the men's Hundred as we look set for a thrilling conclusion to the group stage.
Five of the eight teams are still within a shout of finishing in the top three as we head into the final week of the competition. First up it is leaders Trent Rockets as they look to seal their place in the knockout stages with a win against bottom side Welsh Fire.
Strap yourselves in.
