I am backing Beth Mooney here...

  2. Spirit 152-4published at 99 balls

    Single to Luff.

Mooney on strike, one ball left, needs six to get a century. Go on!

  3. Spirit 152-4published at 98 balls

Yeah, Sophie Luff is not thinking about Beth Mooney.

She clubs one for four over cover with an absolutely glorious shot!

Luff will not be thinking about Mooney's hundred. If she can find a boundary that is what she will do.

  5. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 97 balls

    Dattani c Bouchier b Wellington 3 (Spirit Spirit 148-4)

Dattani takes a huge swing, but the ball ends up safely in the hands of Maia Bouchier. Amanda-Jade Wellington has three wickets now, a fine performance from the leg spinner.

Unfortunately for Mooney, she is still stuck at the non-striker's end with three balls left and on 95!

  6. Spirit 147-3published at 95 balls

Dattani does well to take the single and get Mooney back on strike.

Five balls left, six runs needed for her century.

  7. Spirit 146-3published at 94 balls

Oh, she takes a very risky single... but Lauren Bell can't take the ball cleanly at the stumps and Mooney makes it.

Not the best of throws. Brave just getting a little rattled, perhaps?

Mooney is such a clever cricketer. She is not going to throw this chance away. She is playing a blinder.

  9. Spirit 145-3published at 94 balls

    Swing, edge... and four!

The keeper puts in a desperate dive but can't get a hand to it. Unlucky for Lauren Bell but Mooney won't care in the slighest. On to 93...

  10. Spirit 141-3published at 92 balls

Mooney finds the gap on the off side and that's going to run away for four!

    On to 89...

  11. Spirit 137-3published at 90 balls

10 balls left, Mooney is on 85 and is on strike.

She needs to face the majority of them to have a chance of scoring a century, but she's so good - I wouldn't bet against her.

    Come on!

  12. Spirit 136-3published at 87 balls

Handy runs for the Spirit as Strano bowls a wide, the keeper misses and they're able to run a bonus two.

  13. Spirit 133-3published at 86 balls

    There's one!

Beth Mooney smashes Molly Strano for four over cover and she's on to 85.

    Could she...?

  14. Spirit 128-3published at 85 balls

Danni Wyatt pulls off a classy save on the boundary as Beth Mooney really gets hold of one that looks destined to go for four.

Spirit need those big shots to start finding the boundary.

  15. Spirit 126-3published at 82 balls

Those two wickets have just slowed things down for London Spirit, who need Beth Mooney to stay there until the end now.

    She's joined by Naomi Dattani.

It is important for Brave that they keep picking up wickets here because that will stem the flow of runs.

That was a good catch from Amanda-Jade Wellington in the end.

    WICKETpublished at 80 balls

    Gibson c & b Wellington 0 (Spirit 123-3)

    Oh no.

    What have I done?

It's well bowled from Wellington, just getting a bit of spin and Gibson chips the ball up in the air. The bowler has to pretty much barge Beth Mooney out the way at the non-striker's end to get there and takes a smart catch.

Now then. I've been looking forward to this all day.

Danielle Gibson is in at number four and she loves to whack it.

She's got a great platform here - what damage can she do?

That was a fantastic partnership and they did what you'd expect from the overseas players. They have set Spirit up perfectly to go boom boom at the end.
