Amelia Kerr hasn't tried to be too creative in the last few overs, she's just picking the gaps well and hitting it where Brave aren't protecting.

Yep, they're accelerating now.
Four more to Amelia Kerr and she's all of a sudden looking very confident.
A nice partnership building between these two now, and they'll be confident of being able to accelerate.
Brave will be desperate to get rid of Beth Mooney, who's on 44 from 29 balls.

Maia Bouchier is a fantastic fielder and she had to make up a lot of ground but she got there and it just spilled out.
Spirit 71-1
Tough chance for Maia Bouchier, who covers a lot of ground and puts in a good dive but the ball just plops out of her hands as she lands.
She is a quality fielder though, and would back herself to take it, so it's going down as a drop.
Aaaand Amelia Kerr smashes the next ball for four. Typical.
Beth Mooney is showing off now as she clubs Freya Kemp down the ground for four.
Halfway through this first innings, then. Time for the batters to have some fun?

It is important to have wickets in hand and that gives you a platform to accelerate at the end. It is really difficult to do if you are six or seven down.

It is a quick outfield and that was just a bit too short and wide.
That'll do! Amelia Kerr crunches a boundary as the spinner Strano bowls a bit too wide.
She then attempts a big pull shot that scoops up in the air but drops short, but Brave will be happy they're creating some chances.
Spirit bring up their half-century.
Now what? Hit the accelerator? They need some boundaries. Brave's batting is so strong, they need a big total to put pressure on them.
Ooooh! A couple of close chances.
Beth Mooney pulls one out to Sophie Luff on the boundary, who bravely goes for the catch that could easily bounce up and take out her teeth but she manages to save the boundary, and palm the ball away with both hands.
Amelia Kerr also chips one up next ball but it somehow lands safely - but Anya Shrubsole looks a bit miffed, as if she'd expect a dive from somebody there.
It's Aussie to Aussie again as spinner Amanda-Jade Wellington comes on to bowl to Beth Mooney.
It's so good to have the Australian players in the competition this year. World champions, Commonwealth champions... their ability and experience will bring so much to the standard.

Beth Mooney has gone about her business as Beth Mooney often does.
New Zealand's Amelia Kerr is the new batter so London Spirit will be relying on their overseas pair here to accelerate and build a good platform.

Scrivens will have learnt a lot from that. When she gets into certain situations, not scoring as you want to, can you just drop and run until you are in and seeing the ball better?

You felt that was coming.
Scrivens b Adams 1 (Spirit 36-1)
The pressure tells on the youngster!
Georgia Adams, who is predominantly a batter and didn't bowl at all in last year's Hundred, gets a wicket with her first ball!
Scrivens steps back, giving herself some room to hit the ball through the off-side, but misses and is bowled.
A valuable partnership though, and Brave will be happy to have broken it.
To show just how dominant Beth Mooney has been, she has 28 runs and Grace Scrivens just one.
But Scrivens has faced eight balls so she does need to get a bit of a move on.
