    Sciver 85, Davidson-Richards 49

    Ufff! Shot, Nat.

She takes a couple of steps down the track and plants Sane Luus over mid-on for another boundary. She's up to 85 now.

The new ball is three overs away. That will be key for both sides you'd feel.

The worst headshots are for World Cups though when they make you do all this "content" and I hate it. I don't want to pretend I've got a wicket in front of a green screen with all these people around.

They tell you to get more excited and look happier and I just want to say "I don't even get that excited with an actual wicket".

Nat Sciver and Alice Davidson-Richards are looking pretty comfortable at the moment. I suppose they should be having put on 108 now.

The pair exchange three singles off Nadine de Klerk. England should be in the lead by close if they don't lose too many wickets.

We've got plenty of players who spent plenty of time getting ready for their headshots. Kate Cross is someone who loved the content.

Thanks Ffion. I am literally the life of the party today.

It always feel like a party when Nat Sciver is around to be fair. What a joy to watch.

Sane Luus is bowling very slow - not quite Poonam Yadav slow, but still very slow.

Alice Davidson-Richards has played really nicely so far. She gets onto the back foot and pierces the off-side for a couple. Lovely placement.

Davidson-Richards is someone who always looks so calm and unflustered. That is coming through today, she looks like she's played 20 international games.

  7. Eng 222-5published at 75 overs

Shot! Nadine de Klerk pings one in short to Alice Davidson-Richards who latches on to it quickly and pulls it down to the fine leg boundary.

That brings up the 100 partnership between Davidson-Richards and Sciver. A phenomenal effort as they came together after England lost three quick wickets but they have been steady and great fun to watch.

Speaking of great fun, here's Callum Matthews to take you through until the close of play.

Alice Davidson-Richards has played nicely with no nonsense. She's got a good method and her own quirks and processes to get herself set but she's solid.

  9. Eng 217-5published at 74 overs

Alice Davidson-Richards is finding her feet - two fours in the over.

Sune Luus flights one up for her to drive through the covers before thumping a shorter delivery straight down the ground.

England accelerating nicely now after that mid-innings wobble.

I wonder if Nat Sciver still had to avoid Heather Knight when she went back in for tea. Do you think she's forgiven her yet?

  11. Eng 208-5published at 73 overs

Two boundaries in the over for Nat Sciver as England bring up their 200, the second from a rank ball down the leg side that the keeper has to go and retrieve from the boundary.

That's not exactly bowling to your field.

  12. Eng 199-5published at 72 overs

Alice Davidson-Richards plays nicely off the back foot for a single to move to 29.

The next highest scorer for South Africa after Kapp was Anneke Bosch with 30, so it's been a fine supporting job from the all-rounder.

  13. Eng 197-5published at 71 overs

A maiden from Nonkululeko Mlaba drifts by. She's been impressive with 1-29 from 14 overs - a good job of holding up an end for her captain.

Funny to see that someone as nice and caring as Nat Sciver has absolutely no mercy when she gets on the field. She's so nice off it but there's no niceties about how she plays.

  15. Eng 197-5published at 70 overs

Nat Sciver picks up a couple from a thick outside edge off Sune Luus, whose bowling has improved immensely from that first over.

She's such a calm character but is just starting to show glimpses of frustration at this pair.

It's an impossible question who is the better all-rounder between Nat Sciver and Marizanne Kapp.

  18. Eng 192-5published at 69 overs

A very handy little partnership for England, this.

Mlaba is bowling nicely but the batters are just able to keep it ticking over. South Africa need a wicket.

    "Sune Luuuuus"

  20. Eng 190-5published at 68 overs

Oooh! Just as I say how comfortable Davidson-Richards is looking, Sune Luus gets one to keep very low and it almost sneaks under the bat. Thankfully she's able to laugh and puts a hand to her head (helmet).
