I don't miss bowling at Sciver in the nets. She's the worst for feeling in danger that the ball is going to be whacked back at you.

The 150 comes up for England as Sciver sends a thick outside edge between slip and gully. Four runs down to third.
Davidson-Richards cuts again last ball of the over but can't get this one through. A better couple of overs for England, though, getting the scoreboard moving again.
Punched through the covers off the back foot from ADR! Top shot from the debutante as Mlaba drags one short.

It's been a challenging session for England. It didn't get off to the best of starts with the run out of Heather Knight and South Africa have been on top since then.
Sciver 37, Davidson-Richards 5
Three from the over as Tumi Sekhukhune returns to the attack.
The first of them is a wide first ball -and it was a long way wide of off, it is a cold day at Taunton so Sekhukhune might have needed that bit longer to warm up!

Jafar Astro: England batters out so far with scores of 0, 8, 18, 28 and 38. Nat Sciver will have to be careful when she reaches 48!

Ananya Upendran: Huge workload for Nadine de Klerk. All these overs will do her so much good. Playing the holding role of Ayabonga Khaka with the heart of Marizanne Kapp and the fire of Shabnim Ismail.

Some good news. England have avoided the follow-on.
Lovely shot! Driven firmly back down the ground by Sciver, just past the stumps at the non-striker's end and is runs away to the fence. Four more useful runs.
Just one from the De Klerk over, England are inching their way towards South Africa's first-innings total. They still need another 150 for parity.

I like the look of Nadine de Klerk. She's got great energy, she's bowled a lot today but you wouldn't think it with how she is out there.

That kept very low, an awkward one for Sciver. It sounded very woody so the edge must have saved her.
Sciver plays back to De Klerk and the ball thuds into her pad at shin height. There is an appeal but, thankfully for Sciver, there was a big inside edge. Not out and no review from the tourists.
It's been a theme throughout this England innings. Batters getting in, looking in good order and then getting out.
Unfortunately for the home side, that was the case for Sophia Dunkley...
Tidy stuff from Mlaba, five dot balls to Sciver before the last is worked off the hip to fine leg. England are being made to work for every run in what look like extremely cold and blustery conditions.
Nadine de Klerk is back into the attack for South Africa, bowling to Sciver. The England right-hander is just starting to look like she wants to push on a bit as she plays a couple of firm drives. The second of them is to the right of mid-off and brings the only run of the over.
South Africa are still doing a very good job of keeping this England pair tied down.

I've got a Taunton special.
It's bananas, yoghurt and honey which doesn't sound too exciting but don't knock it until you try it. You get it every time here as a player.

I'm a huge fan of Sinalo Jafta behind the stumps. She's definitely at the noisier end of the spectrum for wicketkeepers.
She's got a career in broadcasting waiting for her.
Turn and bounce for Mlaba midway through the over. Good signs for South Africa but England could really do without that right now. We haven't seen that consistently as yet but it could make things interesting later in the game.
