We don't see much of Heather Knight bowling, do we? I find it quite baffling.
Tidy start from Lamb with her offies. Four singles from the over, South Africa just ticking over again.
Charlie Dean has been taken out of the attack but not before she trapped the dangerous Laura Wolvaardt lbw. She won't care in the slightest that the batter got an inside edge on it. It wasn't reviewed so it's out.

Charlie Dean hasn't really added much pressure so that might be why we're seeing Emma Lamb.
I'm not sure that Dean's field was right, with a deep fine leg because it is for the bad ball and Chloe Tryon doesn't sweep.
England are making another bowling change. Here comes Emma Lamb.
Interesting.

That wasn't wide at all from Katherine Brunt - it is a lovely shot.
Top shot!
Nadine de Klerk does her best to ruin Brunt's excellent figures with a superb cut shot, nailed past backward point for four.
Brunt comes back well, though, and makes sure those of the only runs from the over.
Tryon's approach is always to be positive, even with her side under pressure and so it is little surprise that she has hit the only six of the day so far.
Tryon 32, de Klerk 3
A dot ball to finish the over from Dean. The off-spinner is through eight overs and while she has gone at more than five an over, she has taken the key wicket of Wolvaardt.
Brunt is set to bowl her eighth over now.

With Laura Wolvaardt there it looked like Chloe Tryon was going to counter-attack but I wondered if the wicket would stifle that a little bit, but that shot would suggest not.
It's the way she plays best so I would say that's the way to go. If they get to 180 or 200 it just isn't going to be enough.
Twist it is! Down the track from Tryon and she thumps the ball over mid-off for four. That's a commanding shot.

Do South Africa stick or twist here?
Brunt is really targeting the stumps. We've seen right from the start of the innings that there is not a huge amount of bounce in this pitch and there is every chance of getting an lbw.
The England seamer nearly manages to get another one on a couple of occasions. However, both times the batters manage to get an inside edge for singles down to fine leg.

That is a fairly costly last ball.
Dean comes back to bowl the last ball of the over she started before drinks. A single comes from it - and it's a no-ball as well.
Free hit and Chloe Tryon is on strike... swiped legside, one bounce for four. Useful runs for South Africa. They're all useful at this point.

It has been impressive from England, getting South Africa's top five out of a good batting wicket on a hot day. They couldn't have dreamed it any better I don't think.

Hang on, there's controversy here. Has Laura Wolvaardt not realised that she'd hit it?
I would be giving her a little bit of space for half an hour now.
SA 108-5
The wicket came three balls after Dean may have had Chloe Tryon dropped. The right-hander looked to drive, there was a noise but Amy Jones couldn't hold on behind the stumps. We've not seen UltraEdge edge but Dean's reaction suggests she thought there was an edge.
Not the only one of the over it turns out, we have just seen UltraEdge on the Wolvaardt wicket and it seems she did get a scratch on it! No review from her so she clearly didn't realise.

That is a massive wicket for England. South Africa would've hoped to have batted around Laura Wolvaardt.
That is as out as it comes.
