I think Katherine Brunt is not happy about that one. That would have made her England's leading wicket taker.

Instead it's dropped by her wife Nat Sciver.

Du Preez run out (Sciver) 9 (SA 142-5)

    Oh, this is chaos.

Mignon du Preez drives straight in the air to Nat Sciver in the covers, but she drops it. It would have made Katherine Brunt, her wife, England's leading T20 wicket-taker.

However, she responds quickly and throws the ball to Amy Jones who completes a simple run out.

Katherine Brunt will bowl the final over.

She starts with a brilliant yorker that Mignon du Preez can only dig out.

Here's how Alice Capsey got the breakthrough and picked up her maiden international wicket...

  6. SA 142-4published at 19 overs

Having the experience of Mignon du Preez coming in now is a positive for South Africa. This is her 110th T20 international.

She backs away and crunches away a cut through the covers, before Ecclestone tries to follow her but she's able to whip away round the cover for another boundary.

    Good over for the tourists.

South Africa have really lost a lot of momentum. There's still 12 balls left in this innings.

They will need to get 150. I really don't think they will be able to defend anything less than 140.

  8. wicket

    Luus c Wyatt b Glenn 1 (SA 130-4)

Oh Sune Luus, she's having a torrid few days.

Sarah Glenn is actually quite annoyed at the umpire as he gives wides - five of them - rather than leg byes. Replays show it clearly flicked the back leg of Sune Luus.

However, the extra ball brings Glenn a wicket so I doubt she's too annoyed now.

Luus backs away and just lobs up a catch to the diving Danni Wyatt at mid-off.

Really well bowled. Sarah Glenn just skids it through and bowls really straight.

It's a really big wicket because England will want to restrict South Africa to 150.

Tryon st Jones b Glenn 1 (SA 123-3)

    England are pulling this back.

Chloe Tryon comes an absolute mile down the track and looks to slog sweep Sarah Glenn away but misses.

Amy Jones collects cleanly and whips the bails off.

Tryon was at least three yards out of her ground.

  11. SA 123-2published at 17 overs

Chloe Tryon is the new batter. She can be really explosive so the final three overs could be fun.

She works a single out to deep cover before good running brings Laura Wolvaardt two through mid-wicket.

Can South Africa get up to 160? They have gone one more over of Sophie Ecclestone to face so that may be difficult.

Unlucky for Bosch but a really good wicket there.

    Bosch lbw b Ecclestone 61 (SA 120-2)

    Gone!

It is umpire's call on impact and then it is going on to hit off-stump.

    A good breakthrough for England.

I'm not sure she's too convinced by this but Wolvaardt has given her the license to take this review.

  15. South Africa reviewpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 23 July 2022

    Got her! Or has she?

Sophie Ecclestone has got Anneke Bosch out lbw according to Sue Redfern, but after a brief chat the opener decides to send it upstairs.

Has it hit her outside the line?

Wolvaardt has license to thrill here.

  17. SA 119-1published at 16 overs

Laura Wolvaardt is the new batter, by the way. We bemoaned the fact she was at four in the first game but speaking pre-match she said she feels happier there because she struggled at the top of the order earlier in her career.

She's taking a liking to Freya Davies already.

She hits away through the leg side and an inside edge races away to the square-leg boundary, before she gives herself some room and plays a beautiful off-drive away to the fence.

Davies has struggled so far today. She's gone for 28 off three overs.

What a piece of fielding there from Katherine Brunt.

It's a shame not to take a catch in the end, she'll be gutted knowing her, but what a piece of fielding.

    Two runs end the over.

An over that Alice Capsey will never forget.
