Capsey played three beautiful, orthodox drives in that over.
How many times are we going to say "what a shot from Alice Capsey" over the next decade or so?
I could say it twice in this over alone.
She greets Pooja Vastrakar with a crunching drive away to the fence, before a placed drive beats cover and mid-off.
It means that Harmanpreet Kaur puts out a deep cover, and Capsey picks up two more to her.

I want Anna Harris' hearing.

That must be one of the best decisions of all-time.

That was a murmur of a sleeping dormouse.
Oh, wow.
There is the tiniest little murmur on UltraEdge as the ball passes the bat.
Dunkley survives. A very good decision by Anna Harris.

The Indians are extremely confident.

Unless she has hit it...
India turn straight to spin now we're outside the powerplay.
Has left-arm spinner Rajeshwari Gayakwad got Sophia Dunkley lbw?
Anna Harris says no but after a chat India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur sends it upstairs with a second or two left on the clock.
Dunkley is very deep in the crease. This looks a decent shout.

That has pinged off the ground and for four.
After playing out nine dot balls Sophia Dunkley is up and running with a gorgeous shot.
Meghna Singh gives her a little bit of width and Dunkley creams it to the boundary with a beautiful piece of timing.
That's the end of the powerplay. India on top.

Playing with Capsey with the Oval Invincibles I have a new appreciation for how talented she is. She just oozes confidence.
Debutant Alice Capsey is the new batter. If we've learned anything this summer it is that Capsey won't be remotely fazed by this situation - she never seems flustered.
We've just seen the technology on that Beaumont dismissal. It was just clipping leg stump and would have been umpire's call so the England opener would have been out if they had reviewed.

Goswami is just keeping it simple, bowling at the stumps. With little bounce in this pitch you cannot miss the straight ones.
Beaumont lbw b Goswami 7 (Eng 21-2)
Two wickets in two overs.
Tammy Beaumont is stuck in her crease with Yastika Bhatia stood up the stumps and it allows Jhulan Goswami to pin her in front.
It did potentially look a little bit leggy but Anna Harris' finger goes up and Beaumont just gives Sophia Dunkley a little nod before walking off.
England are in a bit of bother.

Sophia Dunkley is one of the happiest people I know. You can hear her laugh from a mile away.
But as soon as she crosses that line you can see it in her eyes. She is determined.
Sophia Dunkley, who is again batting in her new position at number three, is the new batter.
She is happy to leave and block out the remainder of the over, with just a wide adding a run to the England total.
It has been a very sedate start.

That was a surprise ball from Meghna Singh. Great bowling. Singh and Goswami hadn't bowled a short ball all morning.

You felt something was building...
Lamb c Bhatia b Singh 12 (Eng 20-1)
The shorter ball works!
Meghna Singh bangs one into the pitch and Emma Lamb doesn't get into a very good position to play the pull shot.
Was she surprised by it? Possibly.
Either way she gets a thin edge through to Yastika Bhatia and India have got the breakthrough that their disciplined start has deserved.
