John McBride: Is this Russell Brand bowling or Reece Topley?
Target 209
Australia are right up with the required rate at the moment. Warner has been firing from the off and Marsh showed in this over that he is ready to kick on as well.
One over left in the powerplay, Sam Curran will bowl it.

That's not where you want to bowl to Mitch Marsh. He has grown up in Perth on these sort of pitches, where you play on the back foot. He's wait for it and smacked it for four.
Target 209
Short from Topley and pulled square by Marsh. There is a fielder out there but he can't get to it. A really powerful stroke.
Marsh joins in now! It's not a bad delivery from Topley. Back of a length but just the slightest fraction of width is enough for Marsh to muscle it over the covers for four.
Warner 29, Marsh 8
A dot ball to finish from Wood but it's another good over for Australia.
David Warner looks on it and everything is set up for an exciting chase.
Target 209
Third man comes up, Wood goes short and Warner just helps the ball over the fielder into the ring for another boundary.
He has flown to 29 from 11 balls!

David Warner has stepped away and given himself a little of extra room knowing Mark Wood, with his pace, will try to hit the top of the stumps. It's almost as if Warner has said, if you bowl quick I'll go at it hard.
Target 209
Wood got Marsh swinging and missing to start but after a top-edged pull falls just short of fine leg and brings a single, Warner gives himself room and hammers the ball through the off side for four.
Four more! This one is nailed. It was at the fence before anyone moved.
Here comes Mark Wood. All eyes on the speed gun...
Target 209
Much better from Woakes after that six. Only one run from the next four balls and that is a leg bye as Marsh is hit by a yorker.
There was a half-hearted appeal but that was heading down leg.

That's a shot Mitch Marsh has been working on with the Perth Scorchers. The dimensions of the ground mean that nine times out 10 for him it will go for six.
Target 209
On the pads from Woakes and just helped on its way by Marsh. Great timing and power to clear the rope at deep backward square - and by a long way, too.
Target 209
Good start for Reece Topley with that wicket of Green.
Otherwise there are a couple of leg-side wides and a single for new batter Mitch Marsh before Warner thumps the last ball over the off side and is able to run three.

It was a great delivery from Reece Topley. A little bit of shape to Cameron Green but the thing for me was the length. He's watched Australia's bowlers and brought his length back a little.
Green c Buttler b Topley 1 (Aus 15-1)
That's why Buttler was so confident. A clear mark on HotSpot and Green has to go.
The Aussie opener pushed forward to a good length ball and there was just a hint movement off the seam to get the ball between pat and pad, taking a feather of an inside edge on the way through.
England will be delighted by that.

There was a noise. I don't think there was anything else in the way.
Aus 15-0
England think they've got Cam Green. There is a noise as Reece Topley sends the ball past the inside edge and Buttler is convinced it's bat.
He reviews as soon as he sees the umpire shake his head. England are very confident.
Target 209
Warner is in the mood, it seems! The ball after that very strange six, he hammers the ball back over mid-off for four.
Two singles end the over. A good start for Australia.

The duck-out-the-way pull for six from David Warner!
