That could be the shot of day. Magnificent.
Whipped over deep backward square, all the way for six from Chris Jordan! What a shot, that is!
Another over ends with a maximum and England have taken themselves up to a competitive total after a difficult start.
Dawid Malan was the standout performer, making 82 from 49 balls, while Moeen Ali chipped in with 44 from 27.
Marcus Stoinis took 3-34 for Australia.
Willey tries the scoop again, misses again by Jordan sprints through for a bye to Wade behind the stumps.
Ambitious from David Willey, attempting to scoop his first ball from Stoinis. He was nowhere near it. Dot ball.

That was probably one of the only deliveries that Dawid Malan hasn't timed. It has been a brilliant knock.
Malan c sub (Smith) b Stoinis 82 (Eng 171-7)
Short from Stoinis and pulled to deep mid-wicket. The end of a fantastic knock from Malan.
Not timed by Malan and Steve Smith, on as a sub fielder, takes a simple catch a metre or two off the rope.
Poor delivery but it should still only be a single. Instead, Starc makes a complete pig's ear of it in the deep and it bounces through him for four.
Marginal call for a wide. Only four or five feet wide of the line.
Decent start to the over for Stoinis, Jordan can't get it away but they scamper through for a leg-bye.

That's a heck of a catch in the crowd. That ball was travelling.
Malan 78, Jordan 1
Malan smokes it! Another very good over is ruined by a six from the last ball.
Shorter from Starc, Malan was waiting for it and cracks it over the leg side into the crowd - where it is taken!
One over to go. Cummins and Hazlewood are bowled out so Stoinis will bowl it.

It was looking bleak for Australia a few minutes ago but now you get the impression they are back on top.
Curran b Starc 8 (Eng 158-6)
Full toss and the ball clatters into middle stump.
Sam Curran was across his stumps, looking for the ramp, but missed as Starc sent down a very fast, very full delivery.
England are six down with eight balls left in the innings.
Malan's ability to hit gaps continues, even when he miscues the ball. He tries to launch Starc over cow corner, mistimes it but still gets the ball to land in between the two fielders in the deep.

Eduardo: I don’t understand people suggesting that Dawid Malan is a slow-paced player. He averages nearly 140 strike-rate, and he’s doing it again today. Just because he isn’t slogging left, right and centre! He just bats with pace and control.
Just two from the first five balls of Josh Hazlewood's over but Sam Curran gets holds of the last one.
Sweetly timed and he there is just enough on it to clear Mitchell Starc at deep backward square.
News from the Australia camp is that David Warner has passed a concussion test and will be back out onto the field shortly.
Hazlewood into his final over and he nails the wide yorker to Malan second ball. Australia need more of that sort of thing.

Sam Curran just has to stick with Dawid Malan here. He can bat but his international numbers perhaps don't show what he is capable of. We have seen him play some destructive knocks in first-class cricket.
Just seven runs from Zampa's over and the wicket of Moeen Ali. The leg-spinner will be more than happy with that.
Sam Curran is out to join Malan, keeping up the run of left-handers.
