I think Sir Steve would forgive you. I saw him in the corridors of BBC HQ once. A huge man.

I slept through Steve Redgrave winning his historic fifth gold medal having attempted to stay up especially to watch it. To add insult to injury I also stayed asleep during the "bonus" unexpected gold from the coxed eight...

Wicketkeeper Pope is standing up to the pace of his fellow Ollie. Fair play.
Robinson is aiming for the pads with catchers in the covers and at mid-wicket. There's no drama but it does feel like something could happen.

The England team have done their homework, they know Babar likes to drive the ball.
That's what you need on this pitch. You need to be really accurate and if you keep it at the off-stump line, that's the way to go.
Liam Livingstone is still off the field with a knee issue. 18-year-old leggie Rehan Ahmed has been on and off as a sub. Looks like he's having the time of his life.
Azhar 8, Babar 4
Waqar muses on TMS that Will Jacks is bowling far better than yesterday. I tend to agree. He bowls a maiden to Azhar Ali - as probing an over as you can have on this pitch.
Ollie Robinson is coming on for the first time today. Joe Root steals some sweat off Jack Leach's bald head to shine the ball.

This shot will do Babar a world of good because if you can rock back on this pitch and punch it through the mid-wicket region, you feel good.

The cheers from the Pakistan fans in the crowd tell you Babar Azam is the new batter. He's under way with a typically classy back-foot whip off Leach.

Imam just chucked it away. He was playing so well and there was only one man that was on the boundary and he played it straight into his hands. The way he was batting he could have gone really big.
Imam c Robinson b Leach 121 (Pak 245-2)
Oh, Imam! He's picked out the one man in the deep. Ollie Robinson cannot believe his luck down at long-on as he safely snaffles a catch. Jack Leach is delighted.
England have a second.
We still haven't see one ball from the seamers this morning. It has been exclusively spin. Azhar Ali sweeps Will Jacks hard past the shins of short leg.
Imam 120, Azhar 4
Jack Leach continues after drinks.
I still haven't found my laptop charger by the way. It's not where I left it, although that's understandable since that was the middle of the living room floor. It's not in the TV stand drawer.
Starting to get worried.
Vic Marks
Former England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
I don't think Jacks is going to be the most economical off-spinner in this regime but that doesn't matter because the little bit of width can be costly but creates chances too because you bring into play the outside and inside edge.

Oh Imran. I think that one could take some beating.
Time for a drink.

As a Liverpool fan I slept through 2005 Champions League final, luckily I woke up for extra time. However I was jet lagged in my defense.

Ul-Haq 116, Azhar 0
Azhar was indeed hit outside the line on that lbw appeal. It would not have been out had England reviewed.
Imam-ul-Haq is clearly not bothered about having a new teammate to chat to in the middle. He whacks Leach for another six.

Big appeal for lbw against new batter Azhar Ali!
Joel Wilson firmly shakes his head. Outside the line? Ben Stokes must think so.

There's a certain bravery of bowling that line, four or five inches wide of off stump because you didn't have a sweeper out there.
Pope hardly celebrated. I'd have been doing laps if I'd done that.

That's a really, really good catch from Ollie Pope. Those big deviations are tough when a keeper is standing up.
