It's a brilliant delivery, he's set him up. It's the googly, turning back in towards the right-hander. He's beaten Zak Crawley and hit the top of off stump. That's well bowled.

Abrar Ahmed has his first wicket in Test cricket. What a start for Pakistan's mystery spinner debutant.
Crawley b Abrar 19 (Eng 38-1)
Bowled him! Abrar Ahmed gets a wicket in his first over in Test cricket!
After getting four deliveries to spin away from Zak Crawley, Abrar gets one to go the other away, beating Crawley's defences and clattering into the stumps.
Abrar sets off on a sprint in celebrating before being mobbed by his team-mates. What a moment.
Abrar Ahmed gives his first ball a bit of air. There's a bit of grip and turn too as it moves away from the right hander. Zak Crawley pushes it to cover, who fumbles, and England run two.
An encouraging start from the debutant though.

We're going to see Abrar Ahmed. There is so much hype about this young man. He's taken so many wickets in first-class cricket and, most importantly, he wears spectacles.

Can I play 12?
The answer is complicated by the fact Will Jacks took six wickets in the last Test and this pitch looks more likely to turn.
For that reason, do England need all of Anderson, Robinson, Wood and Stokes to bowl pace? Yes, it was the seamers that did the damage last week, but the early suggestions here are that four will be too many.
I'd have rotated one of Anderson or Robinson, keeping one fresh for the third Test.

Ben Duckett is also timing the ball beautifully as he threads an on drive wide of mid-on for four.
Change of bowling for Pakistan...and it is the debutant Abrar Ahmed.

Wow, that's a great shot from Zak Crawley, just up on his toes, punching the ball through the covers. He doesn't move his feet too much but he doesn't need to. He just holds the pose.
That's a good point from Vic Marks. Our expectations are all over the place after the fireworks of the first Test.
These two batters are looking in good tough, though. Zak Crawley plays another of those wonderful punchy drives off the front foot through the covers for four.
Is it too soon to call it his trademark? Probably. He is certainly strong in that area though.

No, but pre-Rawalpindi, 27-0 after seven overs isn't bad at all on the first morning of a Test match.

There hasn't been that rollicking start we saw in Rawalpindi.

Duckett likes that area. He doesn't move much but given width, it's not the kind of surface where you shoulder arms - certainly these two don't. He just pats it.
That's a lovely shot from Ben Duckett as he plays a delicate, wristy cut down to third man for four.
There did not seem to be much power in that shot, it was just pure timing.

I've had it confirmed that Azhar Ali's absence is nothing to do with his injury in the last match. The decision certainly raised a few eyebrows this morning, he looked the key to Pakistan's chances of victory in Rawalpindi.
Mohammad Ali bowls a maiden - the second of the morning so far.
There were only three maidens in the entirety of England's first innings in Rawalpindi.

It's a heavily packed off side field but that doesn't bother Crawley. He just uses a bit of bottom hand to work it on side. He's in such good form that he can take that slight risk of using that bottom hand.

Good morning, up feeding my five week old foster baby - currently explaining the benefits of batting first to him. He's definitely interested.

It was the off-cutter and it stayed very low, bounced two or three times before the wicketkeeper.
It certainly gripped so that will be encouragement for Pakistan to bring on the spinners soon.
