Three wickets this morning but it's not all good news for Pakistan today.

Now Leach has got to avoid the pair. He should just play one of his more adhesive innings here, he can score a 150.

Jack Leach survives his first ball and avoids the king pair. It's a wicket maiden for Zahid Mahmood in his first over of the morning.
Time for Harry Brook to really get moving now? Not that he's been slow to this point, of course!

A nice delivery and a nice catch. It was a slightly tentative poke from Mark Wood. I'm now getting extremely nervous because Jack Leach is coming out on a king pair.
Wood c Babar b Zahid 6 (Eng 270-8)
The bowling change works for Pakistan.
Wood pokes at a turning delivery as he played back, got an edge, the ball flicked off Rizwan's gloves and is smartly gobbled up by Babar Azam at slip.
Good catch with the ball only just carrying.
Change of bowling coming up, Zahid Mahmood is into the attack. More leg-spin for England to deal with.

Forget Brook going into T20 mode, Mark Wood has decided it's time to free his arms and swings a short ball from Abrar over the leg-side, one bounce for four.
A lovely, clean hit from Wood. He'll be on strike for the start of the next over, too, as a misfield allows him one to point last ball.

I never played football when I was a kid. I lived in a part of the country that doesn't have a football team. I feel like I've missed out on something.

I think Mark Wood enjoys his batting. He was a batting all-rounder in his school days.
Lead by 343
Nawaz continues and Brook gets two from the first ball with a clip out to deep mid-wicket.
He and Wood exchange singles before Brook is able to keep strike with one off the last. Wood can bat but it can't be too long until the England number five goes into full T20 mode.

Ben: That Harry Brook is averaging 90 in the series is made even more impressive given the nine he made in the first innings. Absolutely amazing player.

There's an appeal for a catch but it's only a half-hearted one. They're not going to go for it, there was no conviction in the appeal.

Wicket maiden from Abrar Ahmed as Mark Wood decides to take a few balls to get in before swinging himself off his feet.
Abrar finishes with a beauty, flighted and then spinning away to beat the edge. There is a huge appeal from the bowler but no interest from anyone else. Replays show it missed the bat comfortably.

Robinson was just trying to accelerate the scoring. England will still be feeling very comfortable right now with that lead.

Robinson has come and gone. Abrar has got a fourth wicket.
Robinson b Abrar 3 (Eng 259-7)
An ugly heave and Robinson is bowled. That's 11 in the match for Abrar Ahmed.
That shot from Robinson confirms what we already knew, England are ready to get on with it now.
He was down the pitch to the leggie, swung, missed and the ball went on to hit leg stump.

Surely a lead of 350 will be enough? Especially with our deadly spin triplets Leach, Jacks and Root!!!
Andy following from under the covers in Guildford.

Ollie Robinson comes in and is off the mark with a two, clipped off his pads as Nawaz strays with his line.
A single keeps him on strike as England take the lead up towards 350.
