Mohammad Ali has pulled off a fantastic catch out on the boundary.
Stokes c Mohammad Ali b Nawaz 41 (Eng 256-6)
Brilliant catch in the deep! Stokes is across his stumps to Nawaz and tries to launch the ball over deep mid-wicket.
He doesn't get all of it and Mohammad Ali comes running around the boundary, looks to have slightly misjudged it but then dives forward and holds on - a fantastic grab.
That ends a stand of 101.

Close! Nearly the end of Stokes as an outside edge gets through slip and away for three.
Pakistan really could have done with that going to hand.

England are getting the lead up very quickly as we suspected they would.

It's time for England to have some fun now isn't it?
Ben Stokes is on the charge now! Down the track to Abrar and Stokes nails the ball back over his head, dead straight for a maximum.
That is Stokes' 107th six in Tests, putting him level with Brendon McCullum for the most sixes in Test history. Captain and coach top of the tree.

Pete Hotchkiss: Harry Brook. Take a bow fella. Worth being up before the sun to see that.

That is Harry Brook's second century in this series. He gets a big hug from his captain. He's averaging 90 in this series.
Eng 245-5
Brilliant from Harry Brook! A second Test century comes up from 137 balls - and with a boundary.
A short ball from Mohammad Nawaz and pulled it away over mid-wicket - think the power and trajectory of that Harry Kane penalty, only this time it's a good thing...
Anyway, what a talent England have in Brook.

Abrar has bowled a lot overs so he will be feeling tired.
Brook 97, Stokes 30
Harry Brook is into his stride again now! The right-hander pumps Abrar through the leg side second ball for a boundary that takes him into the 90s.
Then, three balls later, rocks back and hammers the ball over mid-wicket for four more. Super batting.

England have never won consecutive Tests in Pakistan before so that would be quite something.

I asked the head coach to get it done today and he said, "You asked and you shall receive". So they're going to finish it today.

After tickling the first ball of the over down to fine leg for four, Brook has to wait until the last ball for his next run. A single into the covers will keep him on strike to resume his battle with Abrar.
Also, it is apparently 22 years ago today that England beat Pakistan in the dark in Karachi to seal a famous Test series win. They're well on their way to another.

It's no surprise that mystery spinners take a lot of wickets when they first come on the circuit. It takes time for people to start picking them.

Abrar is a bit frustrated as his over ends up going for nine.
Brook added a second boundary with a pull shot in front of square, quickly onto the shorter delivery and with quick enough hands to adjust slightly as the ball stays low.

It was this absolute no-nonsense straight hit. It was a dismissive hit.
Lead by 301
Brook is down the track to Abrar and pumps the ball back past the leg-spinner. It's in the air but straight of mid-off for four. Lovely shot.
The lead goes past 300.
