I tend to agree, Ben. Pakistan have carelessly thrown wickets away today.
Pope has passed his concussion test.

Ben Duxbury: This is a poor batting display from Pakistan on a pitch that offers not much and is purely up to bowlers' skill. I reckon 700 is par on this road.
We're going to have another stoppage now. Nauman has swept one flush onto the helmet of Ollie Pope at short leg.
Pope is going to have to have a concussion test.
The technology suggests that flicked the pad not bat. England have been foxed again.
Not out.

Nothing on the ultra edge...
We're going upstairs again.
Has Nauman Ali nicked this from Leach down the leg side?
Looking again, that's a beauty from Rehan Ahmed. His normal delivery would turn into left-handed Ashraf but the googly, the one a leg-spinner bowls deceptively out of the back of their hand, has spun away.
36-year-old spinner Nauman Ali is the new batter. He has decided to come out on the attack.

I'm really impressed by Rehan Ahmed the way he's bounced back from his first spell.
He was bowling seven runs an over. Now he's consistent and settled. The googly has been effective for him.
Ashraf lbw b Ahmed 4 (Pak 237-7)
Gone! Lovely, lovely stuff from 18-year-old leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed. This is his googly which has turned away from left-hander Faheem Ashraf, beat the bat and hit his pad. Ball tracking shows three reds.
Ahmed has reward for a really good spell.

I don't think there is any bat. I wonder if the height has something to do with it.
There's no bat. It's looking good to me...
Given this time! The umpire waits an age to give Ashraf lbw and as a result had Rehan Ahmed his second in Tests.
The batter wants another look...

Excellent back-tracking from Alex, there. It's a funny one because on the first replay there looked like there could have been a small deviation as ball went past bat but on second look I'm not sure.
There wasn't enough to overturn an onfield decision anyway.

The more you look at it, the more it looks not out.
Well...! There's nothing on Ultra-edge. Not even a flicker.
The England fielders are shaking their heads.

That's out...
A second for Rehan Ahmed?
England are convinced Faheem Ashraf has nicked this.
Ben Stokes has destroyed the stumps with a throw from mid-off. On rush two men to do some repair work.
This could be my moment for some online Christmas shopping. Any suggestions for a 26-year-old younger brother?
Salman 13, Ashraf 0
Ooooo. That has turned! Rehan Ahmed has done too much here despite hitting Salman Agha on the pad. It would have missed leg stump by a long way. The England close fielders sound like they're enjoying what Ahmed is showing. There are yelps after each delivery now.

Pakistan choosing to bat first was a great opportunity to get a big score but it's England's day so far.
